But how did <strong>Trevor Noah<\/strong> end up in the mix?<\/p>\n<p>If you were keeping up with Ye\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/watch-movies-tv-seriess\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"8\" title=\"Watch Movies &amp; TV Series\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">series<\/a> of angry <strong>Instagram<\/strong> posts on Wednesday morning, you probably saw the screenshot of a Google search for Trevor\u2019s name. The r<a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">app<\/a>er vindictively captioned the pic:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cAll in together now\u2026 K**n baya my lord k**n baya K**n baya my lord K**n baya Oooo\u2019 lord K**n baya\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p><strong>Related: How Much Kanye REALLY Gets To See The Kids Amid Divorce\u2026<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>What caused Ye to so egregiously accuse the co<a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/social-mediaa\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"1\" title=\"Social Media\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">media<\/a>n of anti-Blackness? It goes back to a segment of <em>The Daily Show<\/em> on Tuesday. In the clip, Trevor observed how the <em>Donda<\/em> artist has become \u201cmore and more belligerent in how he tries to get <strong>Kim<\/strong> [<strong>Kardashian<\/strong>] back.\u201d Noting how this has all played out publicly, he said:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cIt\u2019s spun into a story that seems fully tabloid, but I think\u2026 deserves a little more awareness from the <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/general\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"3\" title=\"General\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">general<\/a> public. Because it touches on something that is more sensitive and more serious than people would like to admit.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>The <strong>Comedy Central<\/strong> star brought up Ye\u2019s self-professed mental health issues, connecting that to his alarming new music video about harming <strong>Pete Davidson<\/strong>. (\u201cI do understand that art can be therapy. \u2026 But I also understand that <em>therapy<\/em> can be therapy.\u201d) He reflected:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cWith Kanye, we don\u2019t know how to feel, we don\u2019t know how to worry. And I think Kanye doesn\u2019t seem to understand that. He goes, \u2018Oh, leave me to create my art.\u2019 Yeah, but Kanye, you told us you have problems. Now, when we worry about that, you say we shouldn\u2019t worry, because it\u2019s not problems? Or it is problems? Which is it? It puts society in a precarious position.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Trevor criticized Pete for offering the artist mental health help only after goading him about being \u201cin bed with your wife.\u201d But the host focused primarily on how Ye\u2019s \u201cescalating\u201d actions would affect his ex. He acknowledged the theory that the whole situation is \u201ca big marketing stunt\u201d for the new <strong>Hulu<\/strong> show, saying:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cI get it, but there\u2019s also an element of a woman saying to her ex, \u2018Hey, please leave me alone.&#8217;\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>He went on:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cTwo things can be true. Kim likes publicity. Kim is also being harassed. Those things can be happening at the same time. \u2018Cause I\u2019ll be honest with you, what I see from this situation: I see a woman who wants to live her life without being harassed.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>And while people may have good reasons for disliking Kim, he stated:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cWhat she\u2019s going through is terrifying to watch and shines a spotlight on what so many women go through when they choose to leave.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>The 38-year-old continued:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cWhat we\u2019re seeing though, is one of the most powerful, one of the richest women in the world, unable to get her ex to stop texting her, to stop chasing after her, to stop harassing her. Just think about that for a moment. Think about how powerful Kim Kardashian is, and she can\u2019t get that to happen.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>He remarked that victims of abuse are frequently asked \u201cwhy didn\u2019t you leave,\u201d despite the fact that often \u201cwhen they do leave, the guy will get even crazier.\u201d To demonstrate his point, Trevor made a powerful connection to his own experiences:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cI grew up my whole life in an abusive household, right? Most of my life. \u2026 One of the things I found most interesting was how often people told my mom that she was overreacting. What I found interesting was how many times people told my mom to calm down, people told my family to calm \u2014 everyone. And everyone had different reasons.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>He shared:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cI remember seeing this as a child, by the way. \u2026 And you see a world where women are questioned for what is happening to them. As opposed to people questioning what is happening to them. And for years people said this s**t. \u2026 Police, some family, strangers, whatever it was. \u2026 And I\u2019ll never forget, one day I got a call from my brother, saying \u2018Hey, Mom has just been shot in the head. She\u2019s in the hospital now. She\u2019s just been shot.&#8217;\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>The television personality admitted that his own story might be why he \u201c[looks] at the story differently,\u201d though he was adamant that he was <em>not<\/em> saying Ye would perpetuate the same kind of violence on Kim. Trevor was actually pretty fair to the <strong>Yeezy<\/strong> founder, even agreeing with his stance on <strong>North West<\/strong>\u2019s <strong>TikTok<\/strong>. However, he condemned the ongoing harassment in no uncertain terms. He said:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cI know it\u2019s nuanced. I\u2019m not saying Kanye is just a bad guy. Please. But just as a society, we have to ask ourselves questions. Do we wish to stand by and watch a car crash when we thought we saw it coming? Or do we at least want to say, \u2018Hey, slow down, let\u2019s all put our hazards on, because there\u2019s a storm coming and s**t might go down.&#8217;\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p><strong>Related: Why Kim Is NOT Seeking Protective Order Against Kanye Amid Online Attacks<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>He concluded:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cAnd all I\u2019m saying about this story is, if Kim cannot escape this \u2014 <em>Kim Kardashian<\/em>, if she cannot escape this, then what chance do normal women have?\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>It\u2019s sad that Ye dismissed this commentary out of hand. It\u2019s not a personal attack on him by any means, but a sobering look at what\u2019s really happening. Ye might want to take this opportunity to step back and see just how his pattern of behavior is coming across to the rest of the world.
