data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"2\" title=\"News\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">News<\/a> correspondent Benjamin Hall, who was shot and seriously wounded just outside Kyiv while reporting on the Russian invasion of Ukraine on Monday, has been evacuated from the country, according to the network.<\/p>\n<p>Hall was inside a vehicle alongside cameraman Pierre Zakrzewski, 55, and a Ukrainian fixer, journalist Oleksandra Kuvshynova, 24, when their car came under attack in Horenka. <\/p>\n<p>Fox News announced Tuesday that Zakrzewski and Kuvshynova died of their wounds.<\/p>\n<p>FNC CEO Suzanne Scott provided staffers with an update on Hall\u2019s condition Wednesday, writing in a memo: \u201cHe is now safe and out of Ukraine.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBen is alert and in good spirits,\u201d Scott wrote. \u201cHe is being treated with the best possible care in the world and we are in close contact with his wife and family.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Zakrzewski was a seasoned conflict photographer, having worked for Fox in Syria, Iraq and Afghanistan.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHe was profoundly committed to telling the story and his bravery, professionalism and work ethic were renowned among journalists at every <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/social-mediaa\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"1\" title=\"Social Media\" target=\"_blank\" \u201cPierre was universally loved.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>She said she worked closely with Zakrzewski for about 15 years as a foreign correspondent.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI was with him in a lot of hot spots. He was never a cowboy \u2014 he always took lots of precautions,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHe loved what he did more than anyone I\u2019ve ever met.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHe was a knight, he was a gentleman, he was a prince\u201d who \u201cnever got hardened\u201d by what he saw in his work, Kellogg said.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" \u201cnon-stop\u201d since news broke of the photographer\u2019s death, with both colleagues and subjects whom Zakrzewski had photographed calling to express their sorrow.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe\u2019re all really devastated,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n<p>Kellogg added that Zakrzewski and Hall were \u201cextremely close.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Zakrzewski helped Afghans who worked for Fox News during the US military campaign in Afghanistan escape the country after the Taliban overran the American-backed government,\u00a0Scott said.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\"
