With several Marvel and <em>Star Wars<\/em> projects already confirmed to be premiering this year, <em>Star Wars: Andor<\/em>, the <em>Rogue One<\/em> prequel series, still hasn&#8217;t officially been announced a release date yet. The next <em>Star Wars<\/em> project to premiere on Disney+ is the highly-anticipated <em>Obi-Wan Kenobi<\/em><em> <\/em>series, which will finally be arriving on May 25. Some believe that the upcoming prequel series will premiere even sooner, possibly towards the second half of July. From what fans have seen so far when it comes to Marvel and Star Wars projects releasing Disney+ recently, is that the premiere of weekly episodes never overlap with each other. <em>&#8220;&#8216;Ms. Marvel\u2019<\/em> kicks off on June 8th. <em>Andor<\/em> will be the next tentpole Disney+ series after <em>Ms. Marvel<\/em>. I always heard August, and I won\u2019t be surprised if it\u2019s still there even though <em>Ms. Marvel<\/em> is coming slightly earlier than Disney previously mentioned.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><em>Star Wars: Andor<\/em> is an upcoming American television series created by Tony Gilroy. The series will serve as a prequel to <em>Rogue One<\/em>, which was released in 2016. <em>Star Wars: Andor<\/em> will follow the character Cassian Andor, taking place five years before the events of the original film. While Diego Luna is reprising his <em>Rogue One <\/em>character, he is also serving as an executive producer for the prequel series. I tend to use that word a lot. So once you know what Cassian is capable of, then there&#8217;s room for so much exploration, and that&#8217;s something that excites me a lot as an actor. The series was originally expected to debut in 2021, before production was delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
