However, Knicks coach Tom Thibodeau said before Sunday\u2019s game against Utah that he wants to find some room for McBride.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe\u2019ll see,\u2019\u2019 Thibodeau said. \u201cI love what \u2018Deuce\u2019 has done. We\u2019ll try to figure out how to work that out. He\u2019ll probably be going back and forth. He\u2019s done a really good job. We\u2019ll see how this unfolds.\u2019\u2019<\/p>\n<p>It shouldn\u2019t be too complicated. Thibodeau played just a nine-man rotation Friday. It\u2019s important to get back to where Quentin was as well. With the bench, I like the way Quick has played. We got to get Obi [Toppin] going again. We\u2019ll have opportunities. It\u2019s more situational right now with Deuce, and I love his defense. I want to try to take advantage of that. I think his offense is coming as well.\u2019\u2019<\/p>\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator\"\/>\n<p>Thibodeau was the Knicks summer-league coach when current Saint Peter\u2019s coach Shaheen Holloway tried out in 2000. Holloway was an undrafted point guard out of Seton Hall. For now, he\u2019s catching bits and pieces of the NCAA Tournament.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019ll get an opportunity to watch a little bit here, little bit there,\u2019\u2019 Thibodeau said. \u201cThen, when the season\u2019s over, I\u2019ll go back and dig in a lot deeper. It\u2019s an exciting time of year. College has changed with one-and-done. The way college is now, the mid-majors, there\u2019s a lot of older players, 23, 24, 25, and they\u2019re playing against 18-year-old kids, so anything can happen.\u2019\u2019<\/p>\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator\"\/>\n<p>Thibodeau can\u2019t complain about the officiating, as the Knicks are ranked second in free-throw attempts per game in the NBA.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI think it\u2019s understanding the value of shots and penetration,\u2019\u2019 Thibodeau said.\n                        <\/p><\/div>\n<blockquote><p><strong><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\">If you liked the article, do not forget to share it with your friends.
