He anchored local <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/news\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"2\" title=\"News\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">news<\/a> shows in Chicago, Los Angeles, San Francisco and Philadelphia. For a while in Los Angeles, his co-anchor was journalist Connie Chung, whom he married in 1984.<\/p>\n<p>In 1986, he was the inaugural anchor of the entertainment news program, \u201cA Current Affair,\u201d and began \u201cThe Maury Povich Show\u201d for Paramount in 1991.
