It would then take \u201canother month to integrate, so hopefully May for orbital flight test.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The timing of the launch will depend on final <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">app<\/a>roval from the Federal Aviation Administration, which must sign off on the last stage of the rocket\u2019s development. The FAA is expected to complete its environmental assessment by March 28.<\/p>\n<p>Musk said he expects the FAA to give the go-ahead.<\/p>\n<p>Musk has big plans for Starship, the ambitious, fully reusable heavy-lift rocket made of stainless steel.<\/p>\n<p>Last month, Musk told employees at his\u00a0Texas-based company\u00a0he was confident that Starship, the world\u2019s most powerful rocket, would reach orbit sometime this year.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<div class=\"embed-wrapper twitter\">\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">First Starship orbital flight will be with Raptor 2 engines, as they are much more capable &amp; reliable. 230 ton or ~500k lb thrust at sea level.<\/p>\n<p>We\u2019ll have 39 flightworthy engines built by next month, then another month to integrate, so hopefully May for orbital flight test.<\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Elon Musk (@elonmusk) <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/elonmusk\/status\/1505987581464367104?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">March 21, 2022<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/figure>\n<p>Musk was responding to a commenter who noted that SpaceX is \u201cthe clear winner\u201d in the race to gain dominance among companies developing rockets \u2014 particularly after Russia finds itself isolated economically due to crippling sanctions.<\/p>\n<p>The United States and European Union imposed harsh penalties on Russia over its invasion of Ukraine.<\/p>\n<p>The Starship program has experienced its fair share of setbacks, including some spectacular explosions and crashes. <\/p>\n<p>Besides Florida\u2019s Cape Canaveral and the southern tip of Texas, Starships could ultimately launch from floating ocean platforms anywhere in the world.<\/p>\n<p>He envisions Starships launching three times a day \u2014 \u201crapid reusability\u201d \u2014 with refilling stations in space for the longer destinations like Mars.
