Whether Saweetie takes home the gold or not, she has some big plans in place for the event.<\/p>\n<p>During a conversation with the <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/people.com\/music\/saweetie-on-reality-of-glamorous-life-as-an-artist-a-lot-of-difficult-things-happen-behind-the-scenes\/\"><em>PEOPLE Every Day<\/em> podcast<\/a> on Monday (March 21), Saweetie spoke to the crew about her Grammy nominations. According to the 28-year-old rapper, she already knows what she wants to do with her trophy if she wins.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI have to like put it somewhere special, almost make it look like a museum in my house, like put something around it,\u201d she said around the 12:00 mark before diving into what she has planned for her outfit. \u201cEverything expensive and everything exclusive and everything icy.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" style=\"border-radius: 12px\" width=\"100%\" height=\"152\" title=\"Spotify Embed: William and Kate Face Protests, plus Saweetie Talks Grammys and Living Single\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen allow=\"autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; fullscreen; picture-in-picture\" src=\"https:\/\/open.spotify.com\/embed\/episode\/586dVqstkVEh3038ssmy7v?utm_source=oembed\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>The Grammys is a spectacle that brings out A-list celebrities and their dates. Ever since Saweetie broke up with Quavo in March 2021, she\u2019s been a hot commodity on the dating scene. In her interview, the Icy Girl revealed someone will be accompanying her to the show\u2014 but wouldn\u2019t say who.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cYou just going to have to wait and see, but somebody is definitely going to be on my arm,\u201d she said in response to the question about a date.<\/p>\n<p>Although she\u2019s a Grammy-nominated artist now, the path to get there wasn\u2019t the easiest for Saweetie. The rapper told the podcast hosts the industry is not an accessible space to maneuver, especially for a woman.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI just feel like as artists, you know, we have it tough,\u201d Saweetie said. \u201cI feel like we have all the spotlight on us, and people think that it\u2019s glamorous when in all actuality there are a lot of difficult things that happen behind the scenes. Hopefully you have a great team. Hopefully, the creatives that you\u2019re working with, aren\u2019t overcharging you. It\u2019s like everyone who\u2019s around: You have to pay for this. You have to pay [for that].\u201d<\/p>\n<p>She continued, \u201cI miss college Saweetie and me meeting other creatives. I just wanted to make something else.
