They intend to give power back to the players, creators and collectors with GameStop at the &#8220;forefront of these new global digital economies.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>He explained how users can now mint NFTs directly on Loopring L2 for &#8220;fractions&#8221; of the costly gas-fees that tend to result from minting on L1, <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">app<\/a>roximately less than $1. The Loopring zkRollup inherits Ethereum L1&#8217;s self-custodial security to ensure that its users &#8220;receive the strongest digital property rights.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Beta users will get access to these &#8220;massive speed improvements and lower costs&#8221; and start making deposits\u00a0ahead of the the full launch of the official marketplace that is reportedly coming soon.<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Related:\u00a0GameStop looks toward NFT marketplace launch after big Q4 loss<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>GameStop recently\u00a0partnered with Immutable X\u00a0(IMX) for its NFT marketplace and announced a $100 million grant for game creators and developers. At the time, GameStop had <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/news.gamestop.com\/node\/19586\/html\">stated<\/a> in a Securities and Exchange Commission report filed on January 28, 2022 that Immutable was the its first Layer 2 NFT integration for trading and minting, and that Loopring would follow. Immutable X recently closed a $200 million fundraising round, which brought the company&#8217;s valuation to $2.5 billion.<\/p>\n<p>Reports about GameStop teaming up with Microsoft for its NFT marketplace also circulated last month but this has yet to be confirmed. GameStop first <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/news.microsoft.com\/2020\/10\/08\/gamestop-announces-multiyear-strategic-partnership-with-microsoft\/\">announced<\/a>\u00a0a multiyear strategic partnership with Microsoft back in October.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>NFT related announcements tend to impact the price of GameStop (GME) shares, which were up 15% today at $141.35 per share.
