On Thursday (March 24), the Brooklyn r<a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">app<\/a>er took to his Instagram Story to drop the bombshell <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/news\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"2\" title=\"News\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">news<\/a> that he\u2019s secured his release from Epic Records.<\/p>\n<p>According to his post, Bobby was able to sign release papers with the label and can now drop music whenever he wants. According to Bobby, he had zero control over his music.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI ain\u2019t been in charge of my music since I was 19 years old and I just turned 27 and honestly idk when shit dropping,\u201d he wrote. \u201cSo don\u2019t ask me shit go ask them mf\u2019s since they wanna control everything!!!!!!!\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Bobby Shmurda returned two months later with another post-and-delete directly calling out Epic Records and its CEO, music industry legend Sylvia Rhone. The rapper said he had a great relationship with Rhone, but couldn\u2019t understand why she wouldn\u2019t let him out of his contract.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI got a 70 year old lady running my label And I love her dearly but doesn\u2019t want to let me go At allllllllllll no Matter what I do I\u2019ve been Sign to them since was 19 I did six years in jail tryign to get off this label before I came home,\u201d Bobby wrote in the since-deleted post. \u201cYou name one person in the industry a Lable keeps sign in jail for six years?????? yea Ik ik I made them more millions than they ever gave me!!! Just let me gooo.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>He continued in his caption, \u201cThis is not a cry for help this is a message and understanding for my fans that they stopping my music and prolonging my career I been holding shit down doing everything on my own since I been home,\u201d Bobby wrote in the caption. \u201cIt\u2019s been ah year now I still fee like I\u2019m in prison and by the way the Album\u2019s done ready to live pleaseeeeeeeee I need them to let me goooooooo!!! #FreeShmurda.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Now that he\u2019s free, fans will be looking to see how serious Bobby Shmurda is with his music after all that venting.
