Their names have not yet been released.<\/p>\n<p>The Robinson R44 helicopter crashed into an empty lot surrounded by businesses in Rowland at around 11:30 a.m., Dallas TV-station WFAA <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.wfaa.com\/article\/news\/local\/helicopter-on-fire-after-crashing-in-rowlett-lakeview-parkway-police-say\/287-2d35e563-8c7a-4723-8e19-db84b293ccba\">reported<\/a>. <\/p>\n<p>Cellphone footage <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=alpGMjCZ83Y&amp;ab_channel=WFAA\">shows<\/a> the white chopper spinning out of control against a blue sky. Its blades struggle to rotate and then seem to give out as the aircraft tumbles down and out of frame.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cJesus Christ!\u201d someone can be heard exclaiming in the clip.<\/p>\n<p>Another video from a doorbell camera <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=f2W3kbFG7TE&amp;t=6s&amp;ab_channel=WFAA\">captured <\/a>the moment the helicopter slams into the ground and bursts into flames.<\/p>\n<p>Aerial footage from <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/social-mediaa\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"1\" title=\"Social Media\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">media<\/a> choppers <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?time_continue=102&amp;v=xkmKJu6WI40&amp;feature=emb_logo&amp;ab_channel=WFAA\">showed <\/a>the charred aircraft smoldering in a heap on the ground. The FAA and National Transit Safety Board are leading the investigation.<\/p>\n<p>The Robinson R44 helicopter has a reputation of fatal accidents, <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.baumhedlundlaw.com\/aviation-accident\/helicopter-crashes\/robinson-helicopter-crashes\/#:~:text=Model%20R44%20%E2%80%93%20561%20R44%20accidents,fatal%3B%2039%20people%20have%20died\">according to Baum Hedlund Aristei &amp; Goldman<\/a>, a law firm based in Los Angeles.<\/p>\n<p>The craft has been involved in 561 accidents, 203 of which were fatal resulting in 405 deaths, the firm said.<\/p>\n<p>Rowland is located about 120 miles northwest of Dallas near the Oklahoma border.\n                        <\/p><\/div>\n<blockquote><p><strong><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\">If you liked the article, do not forget to share it with your friends.
