world\u2019s most popular virtual assistants, her robotic voice reverberating through millions of homes every day.<\/p>\n<p>But while the voice-controlled helper Alexa is more often than not a useful presence at home, she can get on your nerves, too.<\/p>\n<p>One of the biggest complaints made about Amazon\u2019s assistant \u2013 which is loaded into its Echo speaker range \u2013 is her volume.<\/p>\n<p>It makes using her at night or early in the morning a big issue, particularly if you\u2019ve got young kids.<\/p>\n<p>Tinkering with volume settings can be a pain, and even when you do that, Alexa\u2019s voice doesn\u2019t become any softer.<\/p>\n<p>Fortunately, you can make Alexa whisper or shorten her responses to ensure she doesn\u2019t make any unwanted disturbances.<\/p>\n<p>To do that, you\u2019ll need to activate \u201cWhisper Mode\u201d or \u201cBrief Mode.\u201d<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"What_is_Alexas_Whisper_Mode\"><\/span>What is Alexa\u2019s Whisper Mode?<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Your Echo speaker has a setting that, when activated, causes Alexa to speak more softly.<\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s called Whisper Mode, and it\u2019s designed to allow night-time Alexa conversations that won\u2019t wake up your entire house.<\/p>\n<p>You need to enable Whisper class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>First, you\u2019ll need to enable Whisper Mode in the Alexa <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">app<\/a>:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Launch the app<\/li>\n<li>Go to Settings<\/li>\n<li>Then go to Alexa Account<\/li>\n<li>Next, click Alexa Voice Responses<\/li>\n<li>Then activate Whispered Responses<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>This simply makes it possible for Alexa to enter Whisper Mode, but you\u2019ll still need to activate it each time you want to use it.<\/p>\n<p>To do this, simply say \u201cAlexa, turn on Whisper Mode\u201d \u2013 and she\u2019ll speak in a feature that reduces the amount of Alexa in your life is Brief Mode.<\/p>\n<p>With Brief Mode, Alexa speaks less and may play a short sound instead of giving a voice response.<\/p>\n<p>For instance, when Brief Mode is activated Alexa won\u2019t always say \u201cOK\u201d, she\u2019ll simply take care of the task at hand.<\/p>\n<p>The mode is great for anyone who finds Alexa\u2019s responses
