href=\"https:\/\/www.wsj.com\/articles\/antitrust-tech-bills-gain-bipartisan-momentum-in-senate-11637836202?mod=article_inline&amp;mod=article_inline\" class=\"icon none\">legislation forbidding large digital platforms<\/a>\u00a0such as\u00a0Amazon\u00a0and Google from favoring their own products and services over competitors\u2019, marking the Biden administration\u2019s first full-throated support of the antitrust measure.<\/p>\n<p> \u201cThe Department views the rise of dominant platforms as presenting a threat to open markets and competition, with risks for consumers, businesses, innovation, resiliency, global competitiveness, and our democracy,\u201d says a letter to bipartisan leaders of the Senate Judiciary Committee, signed by Peter Hyun, the Justice Department\u2019s acting assistant attorney <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/general\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"3\" title=\"General\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">general<\/a> for legislative affairs.<\/p>\n<div class=\"paywall\">\n       The letter, obtained by The Wall Street Journal, expresses support for the American Innovation and Choice Online Act, which the Senate\u2019s judiciary panel\u00a0<a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.wsj.com\/articles\/senate-panel-approves-antitrust-bill-restricting-big-tech-platforms-11642701487?mod=article_inline&amp;mod=article_inline\" class=\"icon none\">approved in January in a bipartisan vote<\/a>, as well as similar legislation moving through the House. \u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Amazon.com Inc.<br \/>\n        AMZN,<br \/>\n        <bg-quote field=\"percentchange\" none\">oppose the proposed legislation<\/a>, saying it would make it harder to offer popular services.
