I\u2019m so f**king sad. Another one gone too soon.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>As you likely know, Stamos also recently lost his bestie and <em>Full House<\/em> co-star<strong> Bob Saget<\/strong>, who was found dead on January 9 in his hotel room at the Ritz-Carlton in Orlando, Florida at the age of 65. While Stamos\u2019 friendship with Hawkins wasn\u2019t nearly as well known as his friendship with Saget\u2019s, the drummers did share a bond.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Related: Miley Cyrus Breaks Down In Tears During Tribute Performance To Taylor<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>On Tuesday, the actor shared a video from Hawkins on <strong>Instagram<\/strong>, where the musician joked that he should\u2019ve been hired for the <strong>Geico<\/strong> commercial that his \u201cgood buddy\u201d Stamos starred in.<\/p>\n<p>The drummer said in the funny clip:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cStamos is a good buddy of mine \u2014 he\u2019s a good guy. I like him a lot. He\u2019s a great drummer. He\u2019s a great dude \u2014 all that stuff. But I\u2019m a little upset with him, actually, I\u2019ve got to be honest with you because I was supposed to do that Geico commercial \u2026 where he flips the stick. That was mine. Originally that was mine.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Hawkins explained that the Geico execs went with Stamos because he\u2019s \u201cbetter looking\u201d before adding:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cBut I\u2019m the best stick flipper around. Sorry, Stamos.
