The \u201cDie Hard\u201d legend is nominated eight times \u2014 for eight separate <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/watch-movies-tv-seriess\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"8\" title=\"Watch Movies &amp; TV Series\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">movies<\/a> released in 2021 \u2014 in his own category.<\/p>\n<p>Following the reveal of the \u201cPulp Fiction\u201d actor\u2019s devastating diagnosis, the anti-awards body <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/RazzieAwards\/status\/1509219110579712002\">tweeted<\/a> out, \u201cThe Razzies are truly sorry for <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/hashtag\/BruceWillis?src=hashtag_click\">#BruceWillis<\/a> diagnosed condition. Our best wishes to Bruce and family.<\/p>\n<p>\u2014 The Razzie\u00ae Awards (@RazzieAwards) <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/RazzieAwards\/status\/1509219110579712002?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">March 30, 2022<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/figure>\n<aside class=\"single__inline-module alignright\">\n    <\/aside>\n<p>The organization\u2019s apparent choice to not immediately cancel the award category garnered a great deal of backlash on <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/social-mediaa\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"1\" title=\"Social Media\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">social media<\/a>, with one commenter <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/markyzaguirre\/status\/1509226279454842898\">writing<\/a>: \u201cMaybe instead you should delete your account and while you\u2019re at it, cancel your smug and artless awards program.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Another Twitter critic <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/whiskeyslasso\/status\/1509250750022660099\">added<\/a>, \u201cYa\u2019ll really should\u2019ve just not said anything,\u201d while another social media watchdog<a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/BrianLynch\/status\/1509278777037058049\"> chimed in<\/a> with a simple, \u201cf\u2014\u2014\u2013k you.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, Razzies co-founders John J. B. Wilson and Mo Murphy <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.indiewire.com\/2022\/03\/razzie-bruce-willis-1234712968\/\">told IndieWire<\/a>, \u201cWe are truly sorry to hear about Willis\u2019 diagnosis, of which we were unaware until the story broke earlier today.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>They continued in their statement, \u201cIn Willis\u2019 defense, perhaps his reps should not have let him do such a high volume of work in so short a time.
