The mandate ratchets up to two days per week on May 2 and three days per week on May 23.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI don\u2019t give a single f\u2014k about ever coming back to work here,\u201d one Apple employee ranted on corporate message board Blind this week, saying that they planned to resign the day they come back to the office. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019m going to go in to say hello and meet everyone since I haven\u2019t since I started and then sending in my resignation when I get home,\u201d the employee wrote. \u201cI already know I won\u2019t be able to deal with the commute and sitting around for 8 hours.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Another Apple employee responded with a laughing emoji and wrote: \u201cI\u2019m gonna do the same.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHell YEAH my man let\u2019s do this!\u201d a third employee chimed in. \u201cF\u2013k RTO.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"1024\" height=\"682\" src=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2022\/03\/apple-headquarters-building.jpg?w=1024\" alt=\"Apple\" class=\"wp-image-21719509\" srcset=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2022\/03\/apple-headquarters-building.jpg?quality=75&amp;strip=all&amp;w=1535 1536w, https:\/\/nypost.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2022\/03\/apple-headquarters-building.jpg?quality=75&amp;strip=all 1024w, https:\/\/nypost.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2022\/03\/apple-headquarters-building.jpg?quality=75&amp;strip=all&amp;w=512 512w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\"\/><figcaption>Apple employees will be required to work three days per week at the company\u2019s offices, including its California headquarters (pictured). <\/figcaption><figcaption><span class=\"credit\">REUTERS<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Apple employees will be required to go in on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays, while Wednesdays and Fridays will be \u201cflexible.\u201d Employees will also be allowed to work fully remotely for up to four weeks per year.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>By comparison, Google is also requiring many employees to come in three days per week starting this coming Monday \u2014 but unlike Apple, Google is giving some employees the option of switching offices or working fully remotely forever. <\/p>\n<p>The offer includes the caveat that employees could take pay cuts if they leave the San Francisco Bay Area or New York City for less expensive parts of the country. <\/p>\n<p>Meta is also letting employees apply to work from anywhere, although \u201cMetamates\u201d who move may also face pay cuts.
