They\u2019ve been great to me. I hope I\u2019ve been good to them. I understand I\u2019ve brought them a lot of bad news over the years, in addition to good news, but they never held it against me. It\u2019s been a great run. I came to New York from Boston on July 1, 1987 when the station started. I never thought I\u2019d still be there 30-some-odd years later. The first all-sports radio station. I think we built something really nice, and something strong that\u2019s gonna last. I\u2019m really proud of that.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The news was <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/sportswatch\/status\/1509991796033605634\">first reported<\/a> by Neil Best of Newsday. The Post\u2019s Andrew Marchand <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/AndrewMarchand\/status\/1510002034795241482\">added<\/a> that Brad Heller will be taking over a bulk of Coleman\u2019s New York Mets duties for Audacy \u2013 which owns both WFAN, and the Mets\u2019 current flagship station WCBS 880 AM. <\/p>\n<p>In that role, Heller will do Mets pre<a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/game\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"7\" title=\"Game\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">game<\/a> shows, split postgame shows with Wayne Randazzo and do feature reports on the Mets for WCBS in morning drive. <\/p>\n<p>Marchand further reported that Audacy will search for a play-by-play broadcaster to call the 30 or so games where Howie Rose is out. <\/p>\n<p>Coleman had been at WFAN since the very early days, in the late 1980s.
