She was reported missing hours later when she never returned from the exchange.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Related: Missing Nevada Teen\u2019s Body Found, Alleged Kidn<a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">app<\/a>er Facing Murder &amp; Other Charges<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>A week after the search began, the <strong>Santa Rosa County Sheriff\u2019s Office<\/strong> confirmed in a press conference over the weekend that Cassie\u2019s body had been discovered buried in a shallow grave in a barn in Springville, Alabama. The body was reportedly identified right away as Cassie\u2019s via a unique tattoo. Sheriff <strong>Bob Johnson<\/strong> said:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cIt\u2019s not the ending that we wanted obviously, but we\u2019re hoping to provide a little closure to the family.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p><iframe class=\"lazyload\" style=\"border: none; overflow: hidden;\" data-src=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/plugins\/video.php?href=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.facebook.com%2Fweartv%2Fvideos%2F1166630740775908%2F&amp;show_text=0&amp;width=560\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" scrolling=\"no\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Suspicion has turned to Spanevelo, whom authorities claim has a \u201cconnection\u201d to the barn where Cassie was found. The sheriff alleged Marcus \u201clied a couple times in different scenarios,\u201d going so far as to say the suspicious ex was \u201cacting like a dirtbag.\u201d Johnson revealed:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cHe never cooperated at all with us. That goes a long way. You think about it, it\u2019s your baby mother and she\u2019s missing \u2014 and you\u2019re not going to cooperate with authorities? That\u2019s kind of tell-tale.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Yeah, sounds all too familiar\u2026<\/p>\n<p>Authorities had previously interviewed Spanevelo in Birmingham, Alabama, where he was reportedly residing \u201cfor a work site,\u201d per <em>WTSP 10.<\/em> Saylor, whose whereabouts were unknown up to that point, was discovered with her father. Johnson claimed that after Cassie\u2019s body had been found, Marcus refused to speak and said only \u201clawyer.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Marcus was arrested on Friday in Lebanon, Tennessee and charged with tampering with evidence, giving false information concerning a missing persons investigation, and destruction of evidence. Just too many arrows pointing right at the man. Speaking candidly at the press conference, Johnson shared:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cWe have definitely got a great case, and I think that once the autopsy\u2019s done and you see the charges filed, you\u2019ll understand. But I think we have a great case and I think he\u2019s going to either spend the rest of his life in prison or get the needle. Hopefully the needle.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>What an absolutely tragic case.
