They put her in the rapper category, I don\u2019t think she\u2019s a rapper. But she makes dope records, and I think she\u2019s dope.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>While some people were baffled by Remy Ma\u2019s remarks, others wholeheartedly agreed with her.\u201cIs Doja Cat a rapper?\u201d one person asked on <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/social-mediaa\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"1\" title=\"Social Media\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Twitter<\/a>. \u201cmmm nah wouldn\u2019t necessarily say that however she does rap alot of verses over pop beats. Sooo gotta agree with Remy Ma. She def dope af tho.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Another said, \u201cY\u2019all have to understand where Remy Ma is coming from. She grew up in a time where artists were rapping, not singing. Doja Cat\u2019s music is more pop than rap, and that\u2019s a fact,\u201d but another countered,\u00a0\u201cRemy Ma saying Doja Cat isnt a rapper just pissed me off. Bitch are YOU a rapper? What was the last song YOU released?\u201d<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"500\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"et\" dir=\"ltr\">Remy Ma on Doja Cat; <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/cM2Wq2PnPh\">pic.twitter.com\/cM2Wq2PnPh<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 GlockTopickz (@Glock_Topickz) <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/Glock_Topickz\/status\/1507784934311829504?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">March 26, 2022<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p>On Sunday night (April 3), Doja Cat took home a Grammy in the Best Pop Duo\/Group Performance category for the song \u201cKiss Me More\u201d featuring SZA at the 64th Annual Grammy Awards at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas \u2014 not Best Rap Song, not Best Melodic Rap Performance, not Best Rap<em> anything.\u00a0<\/em>So, does that settle the debate?<\/p>\n<p>Rapper or singer, Doja Cat was overjoyed by her Grammy win and was moved to tears while giving her acceptance speech alongside her Top Dawg Entertainment collaborator \u2014 but not before making a crass remark about \u201cpissing.\u201d Apparently, Doja Cat thought she had enough time to use the bathroom before her category was called. That proved not to be the case. Rushing back to the stage, she remarked, \u201cI have never taken such a fast piss in my whole life.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Turning to SZA, who\u2019d just hobbled onto the stage with the aid of crutches and Lady Gaga, she continued, \u201cSZA, you are everything to me. \u2026 You are the epitome of talent. You\u2019re a lyricist. You\u2019re everything \u2026\u00a0I like to downplay shit, but this? It\u2019s a big deal.
