According to the\u00a0Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, over 400 people in the US die each year due to carbon monoxide poisoning. However, carbon monoxide poisoning is also \u201centirely preventable,\u201d if consumers understand the symptoms of carbon monoxide positioning, the CDC said. \u00a0<\/p>\n<p>To date, there have been two reports that the recalled units \u201cfailed to alarm for the presence of carbon monoxide within the specified time requirement,\u201d according to the recall.
