We interview diverse candidates, but we don\u2019t hire them,\u201d she said, referring to the National Football League\u2019s requirement to interview minorities for top jobs \u2014 a regulation that has come under fire for allegedly failing to lead to actual hirings. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe say we want black reporters, but where are they?\u201d Floyd said. \u201cDon\u2019t tell me they don\u2019t exist because I know them, I\u2019ve recruited them. We just haven\u2019t hired them. They\u2019re not in the newsroom. Why not?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>She added that years after the anti-harassment #MeToo movement, \u201cBullies remain comfortably employed in the organization to this very day.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI know this from personal experience. They bullied me. Harassed me. Hazed me from the day I walked through the door in 2015,\u201d Floyd said.\u00a0\u201cI am tough. Some of the posts allegedly lifted entire paragraphs word-for-word from other sources.<\/p>\n<p>WNYC had told Floyd her alleged plagiarism was a fireable offense before she stepped down, a source familiar with the situation had exclusively told The Post.<\/p>\n<p>Floyd\u2019s rep said Tuesday that his client has not been able to review or see any of the articles that were taken down by WNYC.<\/p>\n<p>Floyd said she complained to colleagues, superiors and human resources about how she was treated at the office, to no avail. <\/p>\n<p>She said she stayed \u201ceven though I still felt under siege.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"808\" height=\"1024\" src=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2022\/04\/jami-floyd-2.jpg?w=808\" alt=\"Jami Floyd\" class=\"wp-image-21789707\" srcset=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2022\/04\/jami-floyd-2.jpg?quality=75&amp;strip=all&amp;w=1616 1616w, https:\/\/nypost.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2022\/04\/jami-floyd-2.jpg?quality=75&amp;strip=all&amp;w=1212 1212w, https:\/\/nypost.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2022\/04\/jami-floyd-2.jpg?quality=75&amp;strip=all&amp;w=808 808w, https:\/\/nypost.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2022\/04\/jami-floyd-2.jpg?quality=75&amp;strip=all&amp;w=404 404w, https:\/\/nypost.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2022\/04\/jami-floyd-2.jpg?quality=75&amp;strip=all 1024w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 808px) 100vw, 808px\"\/><figcaption>Floyd felt bullied and ostracized in the workplace from the start.  <\/figcaption><figcaption><span class=\"credit\">Getty Images<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019m not the first black woman who was victimized at New York Public Radio, but I am determined to be the last black woman who cannot have a long and successful career at New York Public Radio,\u201d Floyd said.<\/p>\n<p>In 2017, WNYC radio host John Hockenberry was accused of sexually harassing several female co-workers and ended up resigning.<\/p>\n<p>He later said in a statement, \u201cLooking back, my behavior was not always <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">app<\/a>ropriate and I\u2019m sorry.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>That same year, longtime WNYC hosts Leonard Lopate and Johnathan Schwartz were fired over allegations of \u201cinappropriate conduct.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Lopate denied any wrongdoing.<\/p>\n<p>Schwartz, who among other things was accused of making a co-worker feel uncomfortable by commenting on her appearance, later responded, \u201cCan\u2019t a man say, \u2018You look good. Gee, you\u2019re attractive\u2019?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>WNYC did not respond to a request for comment on Flynn\u2019s allegations Tuesday.\n                        <\/p><\/div>\n<blockquote><p><strong><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\">If you liked the article, do not forget to share it with your friends.
