Here\u2019s how to use it.<\/p>\n<h2 role=\"heading\" aria-level=\"2\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Turn_On_%E2%80%9CSuggesting%E2%80%9D_Mode\"><\/span>Turn On \u201cSuggesting\u201d Mode<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>When you work in a Google Docs document, you\u2019re in \u201cEditing\u201d mode by default. This means that all edits you make are permanent and recorded in the edit history. To track any changes you make to the document as suggestions only, you\u2019ll need to switch over to \u201cSuggesting\u201d mode.<\/p>\n<p>First, open the Google Docs document that you\u2019d like to <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.howtogeek.com\/398789\/how-to-suggest-an-edit-in-google-docs\/\">suggest edits to. In the top-right corner of the window, below the Share button, you\u2019ll see a Pen icon. Now, each edit you make will be tracked. A green strikethrough will <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">app<\/a>ear through removed text and any new text added will be green. However, an Editor can freely make changes without any of them being tracked and a Viewer can only view the text of the document.<\/p>\n<p>Once you\u2019re done, click \u201cSend\u201d to send out the document.<\/p>\n<h2 role=\"heading\" aria-level=\"2\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Accept_or_Reject_Suggestions\"><\/span>Accept or Reject Suggestions<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>If someone has made suggestions to your document, it\u2019s up to you to accept or reject those changes. Doing so is simple. Each change made to a document is individually tracked, and you can view those details to the right of the window.<\/p>\n<p>To accept a change, select the checkmark. To Reject a suggestion, click the X.
