their collaboration.<\/p>\n<p> The EVs would be built on a new architecture and use GM\u2019s battery <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/technology\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"4\" title=\"Technology\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">technology<\/a>. The goal is to produce \u201cmillions\u201d of EVs globally starting in 2027, including compact crossovers, the body style U.S. buyers have favored for years, the companies said.  <\/p>\n<div class=\"paywall\">\n       GM<br \/>\n        GM,<br \/>\n        <bg-quote field=\"percentchange\" format=\"0,000.00%\" channel=\"\/zigman2\/quotes\/205226835\/composite\" class=\"negative\">-4.08%<\/bg-quote><br \/>\n       and Honda<br \/>\n        HMC,<br \/>\n        <bg-quote field=\"percentchange\" format=\"0,000.00%\" channel=\"\/zigman2\/quotes\/207173990\/composite\" class=\"negative\">-3.69%<\/bg-quote><br \/>\n       will work toward standardizing equipment and processes to get to \u201cworld-class quality, higher throughput and greater affordability,\u201d they said. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cPartnerships like these seem to be the way of the future,\u201d said Edmunds analyst Jessica Caldwell. That way companies work together to reduce costs and get to higher volumes, which will be necessary if electric vehicles are to be adopted by the masses, she said. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe risk in this partnership for Honda is becoming too dependent on GM battery technology and losing its grip on its own brand identity,\u201d Caldwell said.
