It\u2019s not natural for a human being to always feel like everyone\u2019s critiquing them. When I first came into the industry, I had this amazing sense of freedom, because nobody gave a shit about what I was doing. I could get away with doing anything and they\u2019re just like, \u2018Oh, haha! He just makes me laugh, makes me smile, makes me happy. He\u2019s just so cute and cuddly.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Elsewhere in the <em>Carpool Karaoke<\/em> episode, Nicki Minaj showed off a secret musical talent that some of her fans may not know about. At the 10:40-minute mark, the Queens, New York native pulled out a clarinet and reacquainted herself with the instrument she learned growing up.<\/p>\n<p>Even though it had been years since she last played, Nicki impressed James Corden by playing the notes from the famous <em>Jaws<\/em> theme song.
