Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">script<\/a>ed <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/watch-movies-tv-seriess\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"8\" title=\"Watch Movies &amp; TV Series\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">series<\/a> that will follow people\u2019s lives as they prepare for death.<\/p>\n<p>The show, titled \u201cThe Gentle Art of Swedish Death Cleaning,\u201d will feature a \u201cSwedish Death Cleaner\u201d who will help people who \u201care at a major crossroads [to] organize and demystify [their] homes, lives, and relationships\u201d and thereby \u201callowing us to prepare for death while we enjoy life,\u201d <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.hollywoodreporter.com\/tv\/tv-news\/peacock-death-cleaner-reality-tv-show-1235126776\/\">according to The Hollywood Reporter<\/a>. <\/p>\n<p>The series will be narrated by Poehler and produced by her production company, Paper Kite Productions, Universal Television Alternative Studio and Scout Productions- which gave us \u201cQueer Eye.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201c\u2019Queer Eye\u2019\u00a0reshaped the way we look at life, and\u00a0\u2018The Gentle Art of Swedish Death Cleaning\u2019\u00a0will transform the way we look at death,\u201d said David Collins, Scout Productions co-founder and executive producer.<\/p>\n<aside class=\"single__inline-module alignright\">\n    <\/aside>\n<p>\u201cIn this series, viewers will be taken on an honest and emotional journey as they watch everyday people conquer their worst fears and discover who they really are on the inside,\u201d added Rod Aissa, executive vice president of unscripted content for NBCUniversal Television and Streaming. \u201cWe hope our compassionate and dynamic series sparks conversation within each household and breaks the stigma around mortality and the tough reality of letting things go.\u201d <\/p>\n<p>The show is based on the 2018 best-selling book of the same name by Margareta Magnusson, who will serve as an executive producer for the series. <\/p>\n<p>The book explains D\u00f6st\u00e4dning, a Swedish phenomenon by which the elderly and their families set their affairs in order as they prepare for death. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe are so excited to work on such a life-affirming project with the genius creators at Scout,\u201d said Poehler. \u201cSwedish Death Cleaning reminds us to focus on what is truly important, and we couldn\u2019t find a better team to take this journey with than Peacock and the incredible Scout Team.\u201d <\/p>\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"alignright size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"691\" height=\"1024\" src=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2022\/04\/peacock-show-helps-die-05-edited.jpg?w=691\" alt=\"Amy Poehler \" class=\"wp-image-21821646\" srcset=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2022\/04\/peacock-show-helps-die-05-edited.jpg?quality=75&amp;strip=all&amp;w=691 691w, https:\/\/nypost.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2022\/04\/peacock-show-helps-die-05-edited.jpg?quality=75&amp;strip=all&amp;w=345 345w, https:\/\/nypost.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2022\/04\/peacock-show-helps-die-05-edited.jpg?quality=75&amp;strip=all 961w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 691px) 100vw, 691px\"\/><figcaption>Amy Poehler will help to produce and narrate \u201cThe Gentle Art of Swedish Death Cleaning.\u201d <\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n<p>While the show has production teams in place, they have not yet cast their \u201cdeath cleaner\u201d to guide the hourlong episodes. <\/p>\n<p>The announcement comes as Canada prepares to <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/nationalpost.com\/health\/canada-mental-illness-maid-medical-aid-in-dying\">become one of the few countries<\/a> in the world allowing medical aid in dying, or MAID, for people whose sole underlying condition is mental illness.\n                        <\/div>\n<blockquote><p><strong><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\">If you liked the article, do not forget to share it with your friends.
