I\u2019ll be h<a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">app<\/a>y once all the weight is gone.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>It was only after she finished scribing her memoir\u00a0\u201cEnough Already,\u201d which hit bookshelves in January, that she decided to cease getting on the scale.<\/p>\n<p>\u201c[It] was a big thing for me, and I haven\u2019t gotten on a scale since,\u201d she wrote in her essay. \u201cMy clothes still fit; my jeans still zip up. I don\u2019t have to wait until I\u2019ve lost weight to be kind to myself and to be kind to others,\u201d the \u201cValerie\u2019s Home Cooking\u201d host said. \u201cIt shouldn\u2019t matter what I look like. I think that\u2019s important. I think many, many, many people live with a lie that we were told, that we\u2019re unlovable when we gain weight, and it\u2019s simply not true.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The \u201cOne Day at a Time\u201d star previously opened up about her weight issues <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.today.com\/series\/start-today\/valerie-bertinelli-starts-weight-loss-journey-today-t170993\">in an op-ed for \u201cToday\u201d<\/a>\u00a0last year. She admitted that she \u201cused food to avoid sadness.\u201d She lost her ex-husband\u00a0Eddie Van Halen due to throat cancer in October 2020 as well as both of her parents.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWith the loss of my parents and dealing with other trials life throws our way, I\u2019ve used food as a way not to feel the sadness or the stress,\u201d she explained. \u201cBut by eating something away, all it does is make me feel worse about myself.
