Engine Gaming and <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/social-mediaa\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"1\" title=\"Social Media\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Media<\/a> sold its 96% stake in the company to Animoca for $15.3 <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.accesswire.com\/696505\/Engine-Gaming-and-Media-Inc-Announces-Completion-of-Eden-Games-Transaction\">million<\/a> on April 7.<\/p>\n<p>With the acquisition, Animoca plans to enhance its REVV Motorsport (REVV) ecosystem by taking a \u201cMetaverse first <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">app<\/a>roach\u201d to new and existing gaming titles, as <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/ysiu\/status\/1513579992315150341\">tweeted<\/a> by Animoca chairman Yat Siu on April 12.<\/p>\n<p>It also hopes to introduce new blockchain-based racing games. All the games are blockchain-based and integrate nonfungible tokens (NFTs).<\/p>\n<p>By inserting its NFT products into sports, Animoca will be able to capitalize on Deloitte\u2019s <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www2.deloitte.com\/xe\/en\/insights\/industry\/technology\/technology-media-and-telecom-predictions\/2022\/sports-nfts-digital-media.html\">estimated<\/a> $2 billion in sports NFT transactions in 2022.<\/p>\n<p>Co-founder and chairman of Animoca Brands Yat Siu said in an April 11 <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.animocabrands.com\/animoca-brands-acquires-eden-games\">statement<\/a> that the acquisition would \u201cadd value to the REVV community and the racing metaverse\u201d by way of its many assets in the racing world.<\/p>\n<p>Animoca has been busy building out its own racing game ecosystem and is looking to fill the void created by its <em>F1 Delta Time<\/em> game shutting down on March 15 after <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.pcgamer.com\/f1-delta-time-one-of-the-first-major-nft-games-has-shut-down\/\">losing<\/a> its license with the Formula 1 racing brand. From a business perspective, its popularity makes perfect sense considering about one billion global fans are expected to view races throughout the 2022 season.<\/p>\n<p>Animoca Brands is one of the most active investors in the NFT and Metaverse spaces.
