He\u2019d start by emphasizing that \u201cfor every negative <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/news\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"2\" title=\"News\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">news<\/a> story involving the police,\u201d the media don\u2019t report \u201cthousands of positive stories.\u201d He\u2019d tell stories of the many \u201cgood deeds\u201d police do and explain that \u201cnot losing my temper\u201d is \u201cpart of my job.\u201d He would tell his side of the story \u201cnot to garner sympathy,\u201d but to offer the activist \u201cinsight.\u201d Yes, some officers commit \u201cugly, abhorrent crimes, for which they should be imprisoned\u201d \u2014 but most cops truly \u201cstrive for good,\u201d so demonizing \u201c\u200a\u2018THE\u2019 police as a whole\u201d is wrong. After the conversation, if his interlocutor still hated Templeton, the officer would \u201ccome running\u201d if the activist needed help. It\u2019s his job.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Culture critic: Reflections on the Revolution <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u201cWelcome to the American version of the French Revolution,\u201d Jonathan Turley warns at The Hill: A sensible discussion on \u201crace relations and justice\u201d after George Floyd\u2019s horrible killing has given way to \u201can emerging radicalism.\u201d Calls to \u201cdefund the police,\u201d once \u201cthe mantra of the very extreme elements in society,\u201d are now commonplace among politicians and media elites, many of whom have \u201cdismissed concerns about looting\u201d while announcing their \u201csupport for antifa, a violent movement which stands against free speech.\u201d Another \u201cstorming of the Bastille\u201d moment came when The New York Times apologized for letting Sen. Tom Cotton express his opinion. These revolutionaries should watch out: If the French Revolution shows anything, it\u2019s that those considered \u201crebels \u00adtoday are the reactionaries tomorrow.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong>From the right: Trump\u2019s John Paul II Moment<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>American elites sneered at President Trump for visiting the St. John Paul II Shrine amid the riots \u2014 ignoring, Ken Blackwell sighs at Townhall, \u201cwhat the president was doing that day for some of the world\u2019s most vulnerable people.\u201d Right after visiting the shrine, after all, Trump signed a \u201creligious-freedom executive order\u201d that highlighted the persecution of millions of Christians for their faith, largely in Africa and the Middle East. Throughout his life and pontificate, John Paul II similarly \u201cchampioned religious freedom\u201d \u2014 hence Trump\u2019s visit to the shrine. Sadly, \u201c\u200a\u2018woke\u2019 leftists,\u201d even \u00adincluding some \u201creligious voices,\u201d criticized Trump anyway, claiming he was ignoring \u201cblack lives\u201d even while he was working to \u201cactually help black lives\u201d around the world. That, says, Blackwell, is \u201cshocking\u201d \u2014 and shameful.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Protest journal: More Anti-Trump Hypocrisy<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Washington Post\u2019s Marc Thiessen has a question: \u201cWhy is it that so many in Washington are more outraged with President Trump\u2019s tough talk on the riots plaguing our cities than they are with the riots themselves?\u201d Critics called Trump\u2019s announcement he might invoke the Insurrection Act \u201cunprecedented,\u201d but it\u2019s \u201cbeen used by almost a dozen American presidents to put down violent unrest.\u201d Federal security forces removed peaceful demonstrators from Joe Biden\u2019s 2012 <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">app<\/a>earance at Wright State University. But if they do the same for Trump, \u201cit\u2019s a violation of the First Amendment?\u201d And \u201cif we saw neo-Nazis doing what antifa is doing today, no one would hesitate to declare them domestic terrorists. But because they are neo-Marxists\u201d against Trump, \u201cit\u2019s a scandal.\u201d Bottom line, Trump\u2019s right to use tough rhetoric: \u201cWe can\u2019t heal the country when the country is on fire.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong>Economic desk: Reopen Already!<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>In a \u201cstunning jobs report that exceeded all expectations,\u201d the Bureau of Labor Statistics found that \u201cthe unemployment rate actually decreased by 1.4 points in May\u201d \u2014 which, The Washington Examiner\u2019s Tiana Lowe \u00adobserves, was largely thanks to America\u2019s \u201cpartial economic reopening.\u201d The 2.5 million new jobs\u201d are largely in \u201cthe leisure and hospitality, construction, education, health and retail sectors.\u201d Meanwhile, as the protests make clear, \u201cthe coronavirus lockdown is over in practice,\u201d and \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/sciencee\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"5\" title=\"Science\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">science<\/a> is beginning to show\u201d that we can keep safe just by social distancing and mask-wearing.
