A stuffed bear from <em>Ted<\/em>? Boxing gloves from <em>The Fighter<\/em>? Prop guns from any of the many action films? And who knows what kind of goodies he has giving him good vibrations from the <strong>Marky Mark and the Funky Bunch<\/strong> days?!<\/p>\n<p><strong>Related: Sam Elliott Apologizes For His Homophobic Rant About <em>Power Of The Dog<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Still, the most illustrious keepsake has to be from <em>Boogie Nights<\/em>, in which he played Dirk Diggler, a porn star with a prodigious penis. During a recent interview with <strong>Ellen DeGeneres<\/strong>, the daytime host asked:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cIs it true that you still have the prosthetic you wore in <em>Boogie Nights<\/em>?\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>He confirmed the rumor he kept the rubber phallus, but it\u2019s not just sitting on the mantlepiece! He replied:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cYes, yes. \u2026 It\u2019s in a safe locked away. It\u2019s not something I could leave out. All of a sudden my kids are looking for a spare phone charger and pull that thing out and go, \u2018What the heck is this?!\u2019 It wouldn\u2019t be a good look.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>As to whether any of his four kids have seen the critically acclaimed but raunchy film, the 50-year-old said:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cI think my daughter has, but she has not had the conversation with me yet. Thank God, she\u2019s sparing me.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>These days, Mark is focused on making more \u201cmeaningful\u201d content, which has so far meant films aligned with his Catholic faith. Although the <strong>Paul Thomas Anderson<\/strong> film was a career-making moment for the performer, it probably wouldn\u2019t be Bible-<a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">app<\/a>roved. He expressed regret over that back in 2017 in conversation with <strong>Cardinal Blas\u00e9 Cupich<\/strong>, admitting:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cI just always hope that God is a movie fan and also forgiving, because I\u2019ve made some poor choices in my past. <em>Boogie Nights<\/em> is up there at the top of the list.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Shortly after, though, he walked back the statement somewhat, telling <em>People<\/em>:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cI was sitting in front of a couple of thousand kids talking about and trying to encourage them to come back to their faith, and I was just saying that I just hope he has a sense of humor because I maybe made some decisions that may not be okay with Him.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>He added:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cI don\u2019t want to compromise my artistic integrity or choices based on my faith or my family, but I also have other things to consider, and being a little bit older and a little wiser, the idea of having to explain that movie and the reason behind it to my kids is another issue.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p><strong>Related: Bradley Cooper Says Showing His Penis In <em>Nightmare Alley<\/em>\u00a0\u2018Was Pretty Heavy\u2019<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Over on <em>Ellen<\/em>, though, the host praised the film and his performance, saying, \u201cwho would\u2019ve thought, Marky Mark\u201d would turn into the respected star he is today. He responded with good humor:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cNobody would\u2019ve thought. That\u2019s why \u2014 the expectations were so low when I started acting, that it was just like, you do something remotely interesting, \u2018Oh my God, he\u2019s fantastic!\u2019 Next thing ya know, they nominate me for an <strong>Oscar<\/strong>. I didn\u2019t even do anything.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Clearly, Mark doesn\u2019t forget his humble beginnings in this industry.
