The <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/watch-movies-tv-seriess\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"8\" title=\"Watch Movies &amp; TV Series\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">series<\/a> has ordered a drama based on the DC comic from Neil Gaiman and Matt Wagner. Eight episodes of the horror drama have been ordered. Starring George Rexstrew, Jayden Revri, and Kassius Nelson, the series follows two dead British teens and their alive friend.<\/p>\n<p><span id=\"more-129429\"><\/span><\/p>\n<p>HBO Max revealed more about the upcoming series in a press release.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cHBO Max has ordered the Max Original DC drama <i>DEAD BOY DETECTIVES<\/i> to series. From Emmy(R) nominee Steve Yockey (<i>The Flight Attendant<\/i>), <i>Doom Patrol\u2019s<\/i> Jeremy Carver, Berlanti Productions, and Warner Bros. Television, <i>DEAD BOY DETECTIVES<\/i> is an eight-episode horror detective series born from DC\u2019s <i>The Sandman<\/i> and <i>Dead Boy Detectives<\/i> comics. It\u2019s a fresh take on a ghost story that explores loss, grief, and death through the lens of Edwin Payne and Charles Rowland, two dead British teenagers, and their very alive friend, Crystal Palace. So, it\u2019s a lot like a vintage detective series \u2013 only darker and on acid.<\/p>\n<p>Steve Yockey (<i>The Flight Attendant, Supernatural, Doom Patrol<\/i>) wrote the pilot episode of <i>DEAD BOY DETECTIVES<\/i> and serves as showrunner. Yockey, Jeremy Carver (<i>Doom Patrol, Supernatural<\/i>), Greg Berlanti (<i>You, The Flash<\/i>), and Sarah Schechter (<i>The Flight Attendant, You<\/i>) are executive producers on the series. Lee Toland Krieger (<i>Superman &amp; Lois<\/i>, upcoming <i>Green Lantern<\/i>) directed the pilot episode and also served as an executive producer on the pilot alongside David Madden (<i>Superman &amp; Lois<\/i>). Based on characters created for DC by Neil Gaiman and Matt Wagner, the series is produced by Berlanti Productions in association with Warner Bros. Television. Yockey, Carver, Berlanti Productions, and Krieger are all under overall deals with WBTV.<\/p>\n<p>George Rexstrew and Jayden Revri (<i>The Lodge<\/i>) star as Dead Boy Detectives Edwin Payne (Rexstrew) and Charles Rowland (Revri), and Kassius Nelson (<i>Last Night in Soho, Hollyoaks<\/i>) stars as Crystal Palace. Additional series stars include Briana Cuoco (<i>The Flight Attendant, Harley Quinn<\/i>) as Jenny the Butcher, Ruth Connell (<i>Supernatural<\/i>) as the Night Nurse (reprising her role from the \u201cDead Patrol\u201d episode of <i>Doom Patrol<\/i>), Yuyu Kitamura (<i>The Expatriates<\/i>) as Niko, and Jenn Lyon (<i>Claws, Justified<\/i>) as Esther.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>\u00b7 Sarah Aubrey, Head of Original Content at HBO Max, said the following about the series:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cWe are excited to be expanding further into the DC Universe with Steve, Jeremy and the Berlanti team with this thrilling new spin on a detective series. We were fascinated by the world of the Dead Boy Detectives that Steve and Jeremy first introduced in \u2018Doom Patrol,\u2019 and cannot wait to follow the supernatural sleuths in the lurid mysteries to come.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Steve Yockey, the showrunner, also spoke about the series:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cI\u2019ve been obsessed with this comic for a long time, so it\u2019s a true passion project.
