\n The jet setters enjoying a summer holiday in Saint-Tropez will have to add face masks to their wardrobes.<\/p>\n

The glamorous French Riviera resort began requiring the masks outdoors Saturday, as cases of the coronavirus began to creep up again across France.<\/p>\n

There were more than 2,000 new infections Friday, the biggest single-day increase since May.<\/p>\n

Masks were also required beginning Saturday in parts of Marseille, France\u2019s second-largest city. And Paris will app<\/a>ly similar measures in the most crowded areas of the capital starting on Monday.<\/p>\n

Masks had already been required in all indoor public spaces across the country.<\/p>\n

There have been 235,208 coronavirus cases in France and 30,327 deaths, according to Johns Hopkins University stats.<\/p>\n
