They\u2019re currently staying in a \u201csafe location\u201d in Ukraine that has been code-named Club DYNAMO.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe\u2019re just relieved these missions were successful and with all involved safely out of harm\u2019s way,\u201d said Bryan Stern, Project DYNAMO\u2019s co-founder, in a statement.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The mothers and other individuals were evacuated from Ukrainian cities that are under attack, including Kharkiv, Dnipro, Kherson, Nickolaev and Kakhovka, according to a Project DYNAMO press release.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAs indiscriminate attacks injuring and killing scores of civilians are increasing, these rescues of civilians, including pregnant surrogates, are becoming even more imperative and more difficult given the dynamic threat environment,\u201d he continued.<\/p>\n<p>Project DYNAMO reports that its volunteer team members have conducted five successful rescue operations to remove Ukrainian surrogate mothers from dangerous war zones.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The organization has code-named these rescue operations AQUARIUS, which Project DYNAMO created after the success of its Gemini rescue mission in March, when three babies were evacuated from Kyiv.<\/p>\n<p>Two of those rescued babies were\u00a0premature twins named Lenny and Moishe, who were born via surrogate. It\u2019s a commercialized industry in the eastern European country; the costs of the alternative reproduction method are <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/general\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"3\" title=\"General\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">general<\/a>ly viewed as more affordable,\u00a0FOX Business\u00a0reported in mid-March.<\/p>\n<p>So far, Project DYNAMO has rescued and reunited more than a dozen surrogate babies with their intended parents who live in the U.S., Canada and U.K.<\/p>\n<p>The nonprofit rescue organization said that more than 100 surrogates have <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">app<\/a>lied for evacuation assistance from combat zones, including\u00a0Mariupol, the southern port city\u00a0that made global headlines after a Russian airstrike destroyed a maternity and children\u2019s hospital.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>At Club DYNAMO, rescued surrogate mothers are able to stay at the \u201csecure lay-over location\u201d or another safe site of their choosing until they give birth and are \u201clegally\u201d allowed to leave Ukraine, according to Project DYNAMO.<\/p>\n<p>The other evacuees whom Project DYNAMO rescued during its latest AQUARIUS rescue mission included 40 children and 15 adults. It reportedly took 30 hours for all the evacuees to be rescued from their locations.<\/p>\n<p>Project DYNAMO describes its team members as \u201chumanitarians.\u201d It says many of them are \u201ccurrent and former members of the U.S. military\u201d who have experience in \u201cspecial operations and intelligence communities.\u201d<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<div class=\"embed-wrapper twitter\">\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">More than 7.1 Million people have been internally displaced by the ongoing war in <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/hashtag\/Ukraine?src=hash&amp;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">#Ukraine<\/a>, over half of them are women.<\/p>\n<p>The main needs include cash, medicines &amp; health services. <\/p>\n<p>We continue to deliver humanitarian aid to the people in <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/hashtag\/Ukraine?src=hash&amp;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">#Ukraine<\/a>, whenever and wherever possible. <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/7gslladHso\">pic.twitter.com\/7gslladHso<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 IOM \u2013 UN Migration \ud83c\uddfa\ud83c\uddf3 (@UNmigration) <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/UNmigration\/status\/1511297606768635912?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">April 5, 2022<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/figure>\n<p>The organization reported that it has rescued more than 400 people from \u201cwar-torn, contested and Russian occupied areas of Ukraine\u201d \u2014 and it has \u201ctransported them safely to neighboring countries.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>It has been rescuing people in need since the start of the war, which began on Feb. 24, 2022.<\/p>\n<p>The nonprofit has received more than 15,000 evacuation requests from people around the world in relation to the Russia-Ukraine war, including the U.S., U.K, Canada, France, Romania, Nigeria, Mexico and Afghanistan.<\/p>\n<p>The privately run and donor-funded rescue organization derives its name from \u201cOperation Dynamo.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>That was the code name used during the Dunkirk evacuation operations of World War II in 1940.<\/p>\n<p>More than 4.8 million Ukrainians have fled the country, according to data from the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees.\n                        <\/p><\/div>\n<p><script async src=\"\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<blockquote><p><strong><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\">If you liked the article, do not forget to share it with your friends.
