More than two-thirds of the 232 Twitter employees surveyed also said they disapprove of Musk\u2019s tweets about company strategy, which have included musings about potentially eliminating ads and making Twitter a paid service.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cElon\u2019s vision and Twitter don\u2019t align,\u201d one employee wrote.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Others questioned whether Musk\u2019s purchase of a 9.2% stake in Twitter, which contributed to its stock surging about 25% earlier this month, was all part of a \u201cpump and dump scheme\u201d that could see the mogul make billions by selling his shares at a premium.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHe\u2019s either just pumping and dumping or [has] no plan,\u201d another Twitter employee said.\u00a0<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"1024\" height=\"682\" src=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2022\/04\/elon-musk-30.jpg?w=1024\" alt=\"Elon Musk\" class=\"wp-image-21939330\" srcset=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2022\/04\/elon-musk-30.jpg?quality=75&amp;strip=all&amp;w=1535 1536w, https:\/\/nypost.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2022\/04\/elon-musk-30.jpg?quality=75&amp;strip=all 1024w, https:\/\/nypost.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2022\/04\/elon-musk-30.jpg?quality=75&amp;strip=all&amp;w=512 512w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\"\/><figcaption>Most Twitter employees surveyed said they disapproved of Musk\u2019s tweets about company strategy. <\/figcaption><figcaption><span class=\"credit\">Anadolu Agency via Getty Images<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Despite the fury toward Musk, Twitter employees also appear to be unhappy with the company\u2019s board and Parag Agrawal, who succeeded founder Jack Dorsey as CEO in November.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Agrawal initially said Musk would join Twitter\u2019s board, saying he would bring \u201cgreat value\u201d to the boardroom. Days later, Agrawal said Musk was not joining Twitter\u2019s board after all. Asked if they have concerns about Musk buying more shares of Twitter, respondents were split 50\/50.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The survey was conducted from April 12 to 17.
