One of our biggest complaints with the original Wyze Smart Lock\u00a0was the lack of a number pad, making it a pain to use at times.<\/p>\n<p>The new Lock Bolt includes a built-in number pad and a biometric fingerprint scanner. That way, all you have to do is tap the lock to open your door quickly. It\u2019s fast, easy, and supports up to 50 different fingerprints.<\/p>\n<p>Unfortunately, the Wyze Lock Bolt doesn\u2019t offer Wi-Fi, so you can\u2019t remotely lock or unlock the door. Instead, you must be near the lock for it to connect via Bluetooth, then it\u2019ll automatically unlock. That said, the auto-unlock feature was finicky on the original, so we\u2019re glad to see this new model come with more unlock options.<\/p>\n<figure style=\"width: 1920px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-115354 size-full\" data-pagespeed-lazy-src=\"https:\/\/www.reviewgeek.com\/p\/uploads\/2022\/04\/1c9defa1.png\" alt=\"Wyze Lock Bolt inside panel\" width=\"1920\" height=\"1080\" data-credittext=\"Wyze\" src=\"\/pagespeed_static\/1.JiBnMqyl6S.gif\" onload=\"pagespeed.lazyLoadImages.loadIfVisibleAndMaybeBeacon(this);\" onerror=\"this.onerror=null;pagespeed.lazyLoadImages.loadIfVisibleAndMaybeBeacon(this);\"\/><figcaption class=\"wp-caption-text\"><span class=\"imagecredit\">Wyze<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>The Wyze Lock Bolt completely replaces your deadbolt on the inside and the outside. It features a fast and secure biometric fingerprint scanner (like what comes on many smartphones) to instantly unlock the door in less than one second. Then, there\u2019s a backlit number pad for ease of use.<\/p>\n<p>Along with adding up to 50 different fingerprints, Wyze says it supports 20 different number pad combinations and works with up to 20 different users. Additionally, just like the original, it uses location-based <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/technology\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"4\" title=\"Technology\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">technology<\/a> to automatically unlock the door when you walk near it.<\/p>\n<p>The new Wyze Lock Bolt also features auto-lock, where you can set it to auto-lock after a set amount of time, which may be helpful considering it doesn\u2019t offer Wi-Fi connectivity. There\u2019s also an anti-peep mode, where you can enter extra digits before or after the <em>actual code<\/em>\u00a0in case someone is watching, and it\u2019ll still unlock.<\/p>\n<p>Using the <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/support.wyze.com\/hc\/en-us\/articles\/360032748451-Wyze-App-Setup-Guide\">Wyze app<\/a>, owners can set one-time custom codes, see a complete lock\/unlock history list, including if the door was opened with a pin or a fingerprint, remove users, and more.
