class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h1>\n<div>\n<p>Video shows a crew of armed robbers lying in wait as a 64-year-old Bronx resident opens his apartment door \u2014 with one of them then bashing him over the head with a metal bar, according to cops.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The suspects zip-tied and duct-taped the victim \u2014 as well as a 60-year-old woman who was in the West Bronx home at the time \u2014 while robbing the place before fleeing, authorities said. <\/p>\n<p>The assailants struck at the home at Valentine and East Burnside avenues around 5:45 p.m. Thursday, police class=\"credit\">NYPD<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Surveillance footage shows the victim opening his door and then getting smashed on the head with the bar before falling to the ground as the suspects rush into the apartment.<\/p>\n<p>The crew also struck the man with a gun, cops said.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The violent home-invaders then tied up the man and woman, police said.\u00a0The relationship between the victims was not im<a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/social-mediaa\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"1\" title=\"Social Media\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">media<\/a>tely clear.<\/p>\n<p>The suspects removed a safe, an unspecified amount of cash, a purse and a backpack from the apartment while displaying guns, cops
