You see, while their marriage ended on bad terms back in 2010, they had actually set aside their differences and became close friends (alongside their partners Mike and <strong>Julie Solomon<\/strong>) years later. But the friendship fractured when Johnathon tagged her in one of their wedding photos on <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/social-mediaa\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"1\" title=\"Social Media\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Twitter<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Related: Jana Kramer\u2019s New Boyfriend Reveals What It\u2019s REALLY Like Dating A Celebrity!<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>On Monday\u2019s episode of her podcast <em>Whine Down<\/em>, the <em>One Tree Hill<\/em> alum spoke with her ex about the ups and downs of their relationship. Reminiscing about their first meeting in 2008, she said:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cJohnathon was the killer in <em>Prom Night<\/em>. Spoiler alert, if you haven\u2019t seen it. And I just remember going like, \u2018Oh, my God, that\u2019s the hot guy from <em>That Thing You Do!<\/em>\u201c<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>She went on:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cWe met on that movie, but you were just kind of getting out of a previous marriage, so I was very much, like, wanting to chase you. And you\u2019re, like, \u2018I\u2019m never getting married.\u2019 And I\u2019m just like, \u2018Oh, no, but choose me, like, love me.&#8217;\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>The actor, who at the time was fresh off a divorce from <strong>Christina <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">App<\/a>legate<\/strong> (and is also 12 years Jana\u2019s senior), agreed:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cYou would stand outside my door and just constantly knock on the door. [I was] like, \u2018Guys, this girl\u2019s crazy. \u2026 I feel so bad for her. She\u2019s so lovely and wonderful and she doesn\u2019t know that about herself.&#8217;\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Jana eventually wore Johnathon down, but his ex-wife loomed large in their relationship. While the 38-year-old claimed he called her \u201cChristina every two days\u201d over the course of the romance, he admitted:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cOnce or twice when we were fighting, I might have got upset and said Christina. I was trying to fill that void of my broken heart that I had. So I would accidentally call you by that name when we really would get angry at one another. And you\u2019d be like, \u2018See!\u2019 \u2026 That was the one thing that I really wanted to tell you \u2014 I tried to make you something that you weren\u2019t. I wasn\u2019t healed. I hadn\u2019t taken time to heal myself from that broken heart. And I just wanted you to shine and not me to shine at the same time. And I was so happy that I was able to do something with you that brought all these qualities that you had. But I forgot about me and that\u2019s not fair to you.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Reflecting on his four-year marriage to the <em>Dead to Me<\/em> star, he said:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cAfter my first marriage, I just never healed. I was supposed to be OK. I never healed and trauma\u2019s a time <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/trip-and-travel\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"10\" title=\"Trip &amp; Travel\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">travel<\/a>er. \u2026 So when we don\u2019t address it, it comes and gets us in the end. And so my marriage was connected to my career, everything about my work. It was, you know, Christina is an actress. We were in the limelight. I loved her so much. I still love her so much. I don\u2019t think Julie will ever be offended that I would ever say that. I loved her and I loved you. \u2026 But I just never I\u2019d never healed from Christina and I finally was starting to realize how broken my heart was.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Over the course of rebound with Jana, the pair \u201cbroke up a gazillion times,\u201d but eventually walked down the aisle after two years of dating. The country singer dismissed the occasion as a \u201cparty,\u201d but Johnathon countered:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cJana, you\u2019re an incredible human being. I wanted that to be part of my life. I thought that you would heal me and make my life better. And I thought I had to marry you to get that. So it wasn\u2019t just a party to me. It was much deeper for me. But, you know, I think that we weren\u2019t ready. \u2026 I wanted the best in our marriage, I really wanted to make it work.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>He wasn\u2019t the only one who needed healing, though, Jana claimed:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cWe were two very unhealed souls who came together. I was trying to fill a void \u2014 and there was no way you could\u2019ve ever filled my need for love.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>She admitted she would have been a \u201cdisaster\u201d as a wife at the time, adding:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cI definitely feel bad about anybody that I hurt along the way, including you and your family.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>After meeting Mike, Jana attempted to reach out and mend fences \u2014 something Johnathon wasn\u2019t ready for. But after the <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/news\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"2\" title=\"News\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">news<\/a> broke about Mike\u2019s infidelity (the first time) in 2016, he sent his ex an email, she remembered:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cYou said, \u2018I heard you got <em>Dancing with the Stars<\/em>, I\u2019m really sorry about your husband cheating on you. I know you have a beautiful baby, and if you need anything, I\u2019m here for you and my wife.\u2019 And I just remember being so thankful in that moment. Because I was going to L.A. with my 4-month-old daughter, my ex was in rehab. \u2026 And so he\u2019s like, \u2018If you need any baby stuff,\u2019 and I\u2019m like, \u2018I don\u2019t know how long I\u2019m gonna be on <em>Dancing With the Stars<\/em>, [but] I would love a crib, so Jolie doesn\u2019t have to be in a pack and play.\u2019 \u2026 So my tour manager got in contact with his wife, Julie, and [I] pretty much haven\u2019t left Julie\u2019s side since then. She\u2019s the coolest chick in America. She\u2019s so much fun. The couples even moved to Nashville around the same time. But unfortunately, the goodwill was undone in 2021 when Johnathon tweeted:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cI had to explain this photo to my son today. I told him I\u2019ve been married three times. But I got it right when I married his mother. @kramergirl and I lasted a week. We weren\u2019t meant but for this photo and friendship.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>During the podcast, the <em>Legends of Tomorrow<\/em> alum revealed he \u201cputs all my thoughts and my feelings\u201d on Twitter, explaining:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cI didn\u2019t think anything would ever come of it. I thought that, maybe, one day you and I would actually have a conversation about what that was all about. I included you because it\u2019s not, like, every day you see that and have that experience. [It\u2019s] something we\u2019re really going to have to talk to our children about. And so I think it was so much beyond the pettiness of the Twitter and the whole, \u2018Well, I didn\u2019t like that he posted our wedding photo, and why would he do that?\u2019 It was still the hurt of the, like, the way back past. \u2026 He\u2019s got his family and friends here and we\u2019ll never be that unit \u2014 I don\u2019t think \u2014 that we were in L.A. because we didn\u2019t have [anyone else]. We just had each other, all of us. But at least now \u2026 I can go to their house and it\u2019s not, like, going to be any kind of awkward situation. I respect him, I respect his, you know, I love his family. I love his heart and what he does and I\u2019m glad that the air I feel, like, [is] cleared.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Wow!
