The NOLA native first put his <em>Tiny Desk<\/em> dreams in the air in October 2019 when he <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/CurrenSy_Spitta\/status\/1183810490629263360\">tweeted<\/a>, \u201cI wanna roll some fatties on Tiny Desk and smoke it out.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Spitta is just the latest rapper to grace the <em>NPR<\/em> series in recent months following performances from Migos, Young Thug, <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=cnrSu6sH-Ug\">Too $hort<\/a>, <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=u5puSWxPNyA\">Cordae<\/a>, <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=5de8UjLRZBI\">Maxo Kream<\/a> and <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=IT9sB1e61BA\">Mick Jenkins<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>In February, Curren$y released <em>Continuance<\/em> with The Alchemist, his third full-length effort with the veteran producer following 2011\u2019s <em>Covert Coup<\/em> and 2016\u2019s <em>The Carrollton Heist<\/em>.
