Filming was set to begin in three weeks, according to Bloomberg, but has been pushed back to fall 2022.<\/p>\n<p>However, Bloomberg noted that the decision to halt \u201cBright\u201d was allegedly unrelated to the <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2022\/03\/31\/will-packer-police-were-prepared-to-arrest-will-smith-after-chris-rock-slap\/?_ga=2.144826288.589559600.1650542249-324676655.1647863819\">slap heard around the world. <\/a><\/p>\n<p>Smith caused major controversy when he bopped Chris Rock in the face at the Academy Awards last month.<\/p>\n<p>The incident caused him to be banned from attending the Oscars for the next 10 years.
