The project stated in an Apr. 25 <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/maplefinance.medium.com\/maple-launches-on-solana-starting-with-45m-to-fund-ecosystem-growth-396da228c6eb\">blog<\/a> post that it has already \u201coriginated over $1.2 billion in loans and currently count over $900 million in TVL to the platform.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The ecosystem fund was launched in partnership with decentralized finance (DeFi) lending platform X-Margin, with capital being provided by USD Coin (USDC) issuer Circle, digital asset manager CoinShares and several unnamed projects native to Solana. <\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">MAPLE SOLANA IS NOW LIVE. <\/p>\n<p>With partners <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/xmargintrading?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">@xmargintrading<\/a> <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/circlepay?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">@circlepay<\/a> <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/CoinSharesCo?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">@CoinSharesCo<\/a> and Solana natives, we start with $45M to issue uncollateralized to the thriving <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/solana?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">@solana<\/a> ecosystem. <\/p>\n<p>By EOY we will grow this pool to $300M, and issue $1BN loans through Maple Solana. <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/RTNuk3eV3A\">pic.twitter.com\/RTNuk3eV3A<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Maple | Solana &amp; Ethereum (@maplefinance) <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/maplefinance\/status\/1518581900645969920?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">April 25, 2022<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><br \/>\nMaple\u2019s goal for its Solana arm (Maple Solana) is to \u201cbring Maple\u2019s on-chain capital-market infrastructure to scale the Solana ecosystem\u201d and address financing needs on the network. <\/p>\n<p>Maple is expecting the move to im<a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/social-mediaa\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"1\" title=\"Social Media\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">media<\/a>tely drive strong activity on Solana, with the head of Maple Solana Quinn Barry outlining that: <\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cOver the next three months, we expect to bring over $300 million of liquidity to Solana. We will soon welcome another credit-expert to the platform, and share more details on how liquidity protocols are already using Maple\u2019s infrastructure as a launchpad onto Solana.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Providing a further update the following day, Barry also <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/quinnmbarry\/status\/1518610313347842048\">tweeted<\/a> that Maple intends to launch a permissioned pool and to allow protocols, decentralized autonomous organizations (DAOs), and real-world entities to borrow funds by the end of 2022.<\/p>\n<p>Maple Solana will also issue the <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/maplefinance.medium.com\/5-changes-to-tokenomics-for-improved-mpl-utility-281b417ab3b1#:~:text=The%20principal%20consideration%20for%20the,the%20establishment%20and%20ongoing%20fees.\">SYRUP<\/a> governance token in 2022, which will be analogous to Maple\u2019s MPL governance token on Ethereum.<\/p>\n<p>X-Margin serves as the first pool delegate on Maple Solana. The pool currently has $34 million in total cash, but there are no active loans and deposits are not yet generating interest.
