For JayFab, a <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/social-mediaa\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"1\" title=\"Social Media\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Reddit<\/a>or who owns and operates a welding and fabrication company, it\u2019s certainly the case.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Working in Kansas City, Missouri, in the Midwest, JayFab told Cointelegraph that he took payment in Bitcoin (BTC)\u00a0for the repairs made to a Lamborghini Aventador. <\/p>\n<figure><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/s3.cointelegraph.com\/uploads\/2022-04\/3545c711-8c80-4d40-9ab6-d6a68d43bdee.jpg\"><figcaption style=\"text-align: center;\">The Lamborghini in question. Source: Bitcoin subreddit.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>JayFab told Cointelegraph that receiving Bitcoin for repairing the car was his \u201cfirst legitimate transaction,\u201d even though he first got into Bitcoin in 2016.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><strong>\u201cFrom there [2016], I have taken the deep dive into the industry to learn about it, understand the tech and possibly have a second chance at a future.\u201d<\/strong><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>He explains that the payment was straightforward: When JayFab asked for the bill for the repairs, the Lambo\u2019s owner didn\u2019t have any cash and simply said \u201cShoot me a wallet address will ya?\u201d To which JayFab replied, \u201cYa, sure!\u201d<\/p>\n<p>With that, JayFab <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.reddit.com\/r\/Bitcoin\/comments\/ubztr1\/comment\/i67ecfb\/?utm_source=share&amp;utm_medium=web2x&amp;context=3\">received<\/a> the Bitcoin payment for fixing a \u201c$8500 Titanium exhaust system,\u201d and putting &#8220;some pretty pipes on it for more screams and pops other upgrades,&#8221; and the Bitcoin blocked chain revved its own engines onto the next block.\u00a0<\/p>\n<figure><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/s3.cointelegraph.com\/uploads\/2022-04\/a1ba7cfc-3344-4469-af6c-eb3b74089ad4.jpg\" alt=\"\" title=\"\"><figcaption style=\"text-align: center;\">The Lambo&#8217; featuring the new titanium exhaust. Source: Bitcoin Reddit<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Discussion about the mechanic\u2019s actions first <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.reddit.com\/r\/Bitcoin\/comments\/ubztr1\/worked_on_a_lamborghini_aventador_today_and_was\/?utm_source=share&amp;utm_medium=ios_app&amp;utm_name=iossmf\">circulated<\/a> on the Bitcoin subreddit\u00a0where, predictably, the discussion focused on capital gains and tax implications.<\/p>\n<p>For JayFab, however, \u201cthe climate here [in the Midwest] for crypto is kinda non-existent, in my opinion, because it\u2019s very blue-collar and agricultural as far as economical energy.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Grassroots adoption stories in Bitcoin are growing, while Bitcoin transactions in neighboring Kansas are not unheard of.
