since the 2019 release of his ninth studio LP, <i>Tip of the Spear<\/i>. In the three-year interim, he&#8217;s collaborated on music with a motley array of artists and thinkers, from <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=dM4SQFNHH8o&amp;ab_channel=ANTI-Records\">Wynonna Judd<\/a> to <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=9hdZ88JO-PQ&amp;ab_channel=Tinariwen\">Tinariwen<\/a> to <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=YOaHMjTHHyY&amp;ab_channel=ANTI-Records\">Noam Chomsky<\/a>, produced a <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/anthologyrecordings.bandcamp.com\/album\/dreaming-of-you-1971-1976\">collection of songs<\/a> by the late avant-garde actress Karen Black, and published a <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/spurleditions.com\/toyfabels\">book of poetry<\/a>. Still, &#8220;Belong To Heaven,&#8221; out today via ANTI-, is his first solo standalone single since 2020&#8217;s &#8220;The Wine of Lebanon.&#8221;<\/p>\n<div class=\"\" style=\"padding-bottom: 20px; margin-top: 20px; text-align: left;\">\n<\/div>\n<p>            The new track pairs an upbeat bat subtly mournful groove \u2014 built with help from Daniel Haim (drums and backing vocals), The Chapin Sisters (backing vocals), Shahzad Ismaily (bass, keys, piano), Frank LoCastro (keys), Buddy Ross (hammond organ), and Ariel Rechtshaid (production) \u2014 with a sweet tribute to a lost friend.
