into action to save an unconscious customer. <\/p>\n<p>Sophia Furtado, 26, was delivering a pizza to Caryn\u00a0Hebert\u00a0Sullivan and preparing to end her shift in February when, <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/turnto10.com\/news\/local\/she-was-my-guardian-angel-fairhaven-doordasher-saves-customers-life\">according to NBC 10<\/a>, she found Sullivan unconscious and bleeding on the front steps of her Massachusetts home<a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/turnto10.com\/news\/local\/she-was-my-guardian-angel-fairhaven-doordasher-saves-customers-life\">.<\/a> <\/p>\n<p>Furtado, who had EMT training but stopped pursuing the career, jumped into action and managed to rouse Sullivan\u2019s husband Robert from his nap. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cI im<a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/social-mediaa\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"1\" title=\"Social Media\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">media<\/a>tely freaked out, so I go into the house and go get her husband I said, \u2018Your wife is at the bottom of the steps and bleeding really badly!\u201d said Sophia Furtado.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019m holding her head, trying to hold C-spine because I know she fell hard so I didn\u2019t want her, God forbid, later down the road [to] be paralyzed.\u201d <\/p>\n<p>Furtado managed to direct Sullivan to call 911 and find a few items that she would essential to help save his wife. \u201cShe advised Robert what materials she needed, Fairhaven Police Department\u00a0officer Jillian Jodoin told\u00a0<a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/www.today.com\/food\">TODAY Food<\/a>\u00a0in an email. \u201cRobert was emotional as his wife was not responding.\u201d<\/p>\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column\">\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image moment\u00a0Sophia\u00a0became a part of our team to aid (Caryn). I asked her if it was possible for her to keep stabilizing (Caryn\u2019s) neck to keep her spine safe. Her answer was, \u2018I\u2019m not going anywhere,&#8217;\u201d said officer Jodoin <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.today.com\/food\/news\/doordash-driver-saves-womans-life-food-delivery-rcna26072\">told TODAY<\/a> in an email. <\/p>\n<p>Through their combined efforts, both police officers and Furtado managed to stabilize Sullivan.
