At the Shubert Theatre, 225 W 44th Street.\n    <\/p><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>Selina Fillinger\u2019s weird and wired comedy imagines a White House fiasco, in which the president \u2014 we never meet him or anyone else with a Y chromosome \u2014 publicly makes a crass remark about the first lady (Vanessa Williams) and leaves a crew of panicked women staffers to clean up his PR mess.<\/p>\n<p>And what a mess it is. The behind-the-scenes situation im<a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/social-mediaa\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"1\" title=\"Social Media\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">media<\/a>tely spirals out of control way beyond the realm of believability. On Beowulf Boritt\u2019s constantly moving set of rotating rooms and hallways, there\u2019s a death, a drug <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/trip-and-travel\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"10\" title=\"Trip &amp; Travel\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">trip<\/a>, and gallons of blue-tinted vomit.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>At first the romp is engaging, lifted by a truly brilliant cast of comedic actors who embrace and explode the qualities that made them famous. Then she accidentally downs a bunch of hallucinogenic pills she thought were Tums and goes completely loco. The \u201cSNL\u201d alum running wide-eyed around the theater wearing an inner-tube is the best part of the play. Dratch doesn\u2019t have to work for laughs \u2014 she gets them by existing.<\/p>\n<p>As well as Dratch does meek, White rocks frazzled and furious. Reporters are enjoyable wackos and there surely were some more clever scenarios for her to be thrown into. Why do you think they make so many damn <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/watch-movies-tv-seriess\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"8\" title=\"Watch Movies &amp; TV Series\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">movies<\/a> about us? <\/p>\n<p>What will <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">app<\/a>eal to some of about Fillinger\u2019s play \u2014 but what also holds it back \u2014 is that it\u2019s cranked up to about an 11 from the second the lights go up. The best farces, as well as sit-coms, start with some serene normalcy before everything goes haywire. How can we perceive this world falling apart, and laugh uncontrollably, if we never see it put together? The non-stop high energy desensitizes by Act 2. The ending, by the way, seems like it\u2019s trying to channel the revenge antics of \u201c9 to 5,\u201d \u2014 however, it doesn\u2019t stick the landing.<\/p>\n<p>At just two 45-minute acts, though, it\u2019s a fun night out. \u201cPOTUS\u201d would just go down a lot smoother with one of Dusty\u2019s 80-proof slushies.\n                        <\/p><\/div>\n<blockquote><p><strong><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\">If you liked the article, do not forget to share it with your friends.
