I\u2019d binge eat, then force myself to be sick, and then starve myself. Although, I wasn\u2019t doing it for the number on the scales. I just wanted to feel good and comfortable in clothes.\u201d She explained.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI have a new lease of life and my confidence is through the roof.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>After Gemma\u2019s weight made her so unhappy that it played a major part in her split with Paul, after being together for 12 years.<\/p>\n<p>They were separated for a year before being able to rekindle their relationship thanks to Gemma\u2019s weight loss and getting her life back.<\/p>\n<p>She said: \u201cI had a year to focus on myself and get myself sorted and now we are back together and happier than ever.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cPaul loved me unconditionally, however I was in such a bad place because of how my weight was making me feel. It was a major factor in me having a breakdown and playing a role in the breakdown of our marriage.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI am so happy that we are back together again.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI also now have the confidence to go into a shop and buy something off of the hanger. I can wear clothes that I never would have dreamed of fitting into.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019m so happy with my new body.
