The two were chatting about<a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2022\/04\/12\/ben-affleck-proposed-to-jennifer-lopez-when-she-was-in-the-bath\/\"> Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck\u2019s engagement<\/a> earlier this month.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cFull disclosure I love you and I\u2019m proud of you,\u201d Andrews replied. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cI had a sh\u2014y week,\u201d Thompson said. \u201cThe <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/news\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"2\" title=\"News\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">news<\/a> of my pending divorce came out and it\u2019s obviously not something that I wanted at all as somebody who grew up in a family \u2014 my parents were married since they\u2019re 18. She was previously married at age 25, though it is unclear to whom.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAs far as the actual [divorce] announcement, it was a decision that I did not reach overnight,\u201d she said. \u201cI\u2019ve been privately dealing with this for a while and my health stuff\u2026 a lot that of that stuff I know was related to the stress that I was under to come to this decision that was not easy to make. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt comes down to this, and this is my advice to anyone, you have to do what\u2019s best for you. You get one life and this thing is real short. So, I knew that I had exhausted all the options to try and keep my marriage in tact and I have nothing but love and respect for my now former significant other. She noted her upcoming 40th birthday in May. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cI am embarrassed to admit that you know, this is now my second divorce at 40,\u201d she said, <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">app<\/a>earing to tear up. \u201cAnd then you worry about this, \u2018Oh, you can\u2019t keep a man. Oh, what did you do?\u2019 There are all these like secondary, third, fourth level questions that you start to think about\u2026 Then you think about having kids, and I don\u2019t have a significant other\u2026 There are so many different layers. But that is not a reason to stay in something that is not making either one of you happy and you ultimately have to make a decision that\u2019s best for you. Even if it feels selfish, it is your life\u2026 in the end that\u2019s where I\u2019m at.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Thompson married Thousand in a small ceremony Dec. 30, 2020 in Scottsdale, Ariz. They moved the nuptials to Scottsdale due to the previous COVID-19 restrictions in California, where they are based.\u00a0<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-instagram wp-block-embed-instagram\"\/>\n<p>Thompson said she\u2019s had \u201cwonderful people\u201d reach out, telling her that they are \u201cso sorry\u201d about her situation. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cI don\u2019t want people to feel sorry for me. It\u2019s my decision and it\u2019s my life and it\u2019s a decision that I am at peace with now that I really struggled to make \u2014 and you [Andrews] held my hand through the entire process as you have with so many things, for the first divorce and this one,\u201d she said about Andrews. \u201cIn the end I\u2019m happy that both my ex and I can move on peacefully and be amicable about it, so that\u2019s number one. And there\u2019s no kids involved, because that\u2019s a whole other thing.\u201d <\/p>\n<p>Thompson said she will get into more details about the divorce in a later podcast episode, explaining that \u201cthere are a few legal things\u201d she needs to work through. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe fact that I got to go back and date again\u2026 sh-t\u2019s about to get very interesting,\u201d she said, hinting that she\u2019d share her dating experience on the \u201cCalm Down\u201d podcast.
