Please consult the FAQs. <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/P44mkovn5L\">https:\/\/t.co\/P44mkovn5L<\/a> <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/aAdtQ9Dqwx\">pic.twitter.com\/aAdtQ9Dqwx<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 FSMA (@FSMA_info) <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/FSMA_info\/status\/1520029705117839367?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">April 29, 2022<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><br \/>\nCrypto businesses in Belgium that have been already operating before this official announcement are required by law to notify the FSMA of the \u201cexercise of their activity\u201d within the next two months, before July 1.<\/p>\n<p>In addition to disclosing operations, existing businesses have been given four months, i.e., before Sept. 1, to register as a regulated business with the financial regulator. <\/p>\n<p>To maintain active registration with the FSMA, crypto service providers are required to fulfill seven <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.fsma.be\/fr\/faq\/2-quelles-conditions-dois-je-satisfaire-pour-obtenir-une-inscription-en-tant-que-prestataire-de\">conditions<\/a> that include being constituted in the form of a company with a minimum capital of roughly $52,725 (EUR 50,000).<\/p>\n<p>The FSMA expects to process registration <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">app<\/a>lications within three months, considering all required information has been provided. Upon successful registration, crypto service providers will receive a unique registration number, a.k.a. the company number, that must be used in all further interactions with the FSMA.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Related: <\/strong><strong><em>Belgian MP becomes first European politician to accept salary in Bitcoin<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Belgium\u2019s pro-crypto stance became evident at the start of 2022 when Brussels member of parliament Christophe De Beukelaer became the first European politician to convert his salary to Bitcoin (BTC).<\/p>\n<p>As Cointelegraph previously reported in January, Beukelaer announced using the Bit4You crypto trading platform to convert his monthly salary of roughly $6,140 (EUR 5,500) to BTC.<\/p>\n<p>During the revelation, Beukelaer shared his intent to inspire other politicians in the region to support the growing crypto economy. <\/p>\n<p><template data-name=\"subscription_form\" data-type=\"markets_outlook\"><\/template><\/div>\n<blockquote><p><strong><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\">If you liked the article, do not forget to share it with your friends.
