That then turned to laughter. There were several people on the train who had no reaction \u2014 I guess [New Yorkers] are numb to the crazy things we hear and see every day,\u201d the rider said.<\/p>\n<p>The fowl-up didn\u2019t last long \u2014 just about five minutes, the rider recalled, as the train <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">app<\/a>roached Rector Street in Lower Manhattan.<\/p>\n<p>Critter-caused delays occasionally muck up the city\u2019s sprawling transit system. <\/p>\n<p>In 2018, a wayward cormorant\u00a0blocked a 7 train in Queens. The bird was netted by NYPD Emergency Services Unit officers, who transferred it to a cardboard box and drove it to Animal Care and Control.<\/p>\n<p>A runaway dog named Dakota created a rough ride for passengers in February 2018 when she escaped from a dog park mid afternoon and was seen running through the tunnel from the York Street station toward Jay Street\/Metrotech in Brooklyn. An appearance by one of the masked critters led a straphanger in 2019 <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/chloepop\/status\/1197349739966144512\">to tweet<\/a> an appeal to subway officials saying, \u201cyo there\u2019s a whole ass raccoon at the platform Brooklyn bound at Nevins St. can you help him?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Humans\u00a0also cause delays.
