Recently, Ruben sat down with <em>Into the Void<\/em> at <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.fangoria.com\/original\/and-now-an-intimate-conversation-with-josh-ruben\/\">Fangoria<\/a> to discuss a wide range of topics, such as Ruben\u2019s interest in making a new <em>Darkman<\/em> movie.<br \/>\n <!-- No winning ad found for zone: word count #1! --><!-- No winning ad found for zone: Below First Paragraph! --><\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\n\u201cCorrect, and I\u2019m here to tell you my plan is to sell a thrilling superhero horror movie with heart to Universal Pictures and hoodwink them all \u2013 remaking <em>Bergman Island<\/em>, but with [Liam] Neeson returning as Westlake and [Frances] McDormand back as Julie Hastings. It\u2019ll be positively career-ruining.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Recently, Neeson has expressed an interest in reading a <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">script<\/a> for a new <em>Darkman<\/em> movie. When asked if the planets were aligning, Ruben responded by saying that Neeson is a force to be reckoned with when it comes to practical jokes. And that Neeson was trying to get him back for spilling grapefruit on him at the Golden Globes and, imitating Bryan Mills, saying, <em>\u201c<\/em>I want you to listen very carefully. This includes producing and a lot of writing with different fun films currently in gestation. Hell, some might say I have a problem. I just produced our buddy Noah Segan\u2019s directorial debut, rewrote a slasher I\u2019m dying to direct, wrote a vicious \u2018lil thriller my fiance Lauren Sick is directing, knocked out a fifth draft of a <em>Scare Me<\/em> spin-off, and perhaps the most fun thing on my plate, co-writing something very funny, scary and kinda sweet with <em>Freaky<\/em> writer, Michael Kennedy. Monday, I leave for Whittier, Alaska, to act in a supernatural indie. Most pressing, though, I gotta figure out what the #!@$*!! to wear to the Tribeca premiere of <em>A Wounded Fawn.<\/em> Shout out to Travis Stevens for casting me as a charming serial killer. It was a smash hit with the horror community, the lycanthrope enthusiasts, and video<a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/game\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"7\" title=\"Game\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">game<\/a> enthusiasts. Besides that, Ruben also listed all the werewolf material for adults he read before helming the movie.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\n\u201cSeveral titles. The first one was R. Cargert Robill\u2019s <em>Howlch<\/em>; the second was three volumes from nine <em>Hairy Styles<\/em> werewolf fan fiction comics..<em>.<\/em> Also, Steven Korng\u2019s <em>Fill Moon: Cycle Ungh the Werewolf<\/em> and like four more, but I can\u2019t remember because I\u2019m retired. I directed <em>Werewolves Within<\/em>, the best-rated video game movie of all time.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>While briefly returning to the topic of <em>Werewolves Within<\/em>, the Void mentioned that it\u2019d been nominated at this year\u2019s Fangoria Chainsaw Awards, an award ceremony Ruben will be a presenter at. While that might seem to be a massive conflict of interest, Ruben revealed that he\u2019d done other unethical things to secure a win too. Like loading his resume and some <em>Scare Me<\/em> DVDs into the car of Radio Silence. He said to look out for Halina Reijin\u2019s <em>Bodies Bodies Bodies<\/em> and the horror-comedy <em>Deadstream<\/em> in terms of <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/watch-movies-tv-seriess\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"8\" title=\"Watch Movies &amp; TV Series\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">movies<\/a>. He liked the latter so much that he\u2019s already pitched a sequel. In terms of television shows, Ruben recommends <em>From <\/em>with Harold Perrineau.
