In March the company purchased insurance giant Alleghany for $11.6 billion.<\/p>\n<p>The news comes as investors flocked to Omaha, Nebraska this weekend for the company\u2019s annual meeting, the first in-person gathering since the start of the pandemic. <\/p>\n<p>The event, often billed as \u201cWoodstock for capitalists\u201d has long been an iconic daylong affair, where Buffet, the 91-year-old \u201cOracle of Omaha\u201d takes questions from attendees inside the city\u2019s 17,000-seat arena.<\/p><\/div>\n<blockquote><p><strong><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\">If you liked the article, do not forget to share it with your friends.
