In previous years, such as in 2019, Bitcoin succeeded in returning to the upside when the market expected a capitulation event. It only swept the expected lows much later such as in March 2020 after seeing a macro top, and as such, there is every reason to believe that this time could be similar.<\/p>\n<p>In a video using Elliott Waves, Credible Crypto thus m<a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">app<\/a>ed out a move to a new macro top of between $100,000 and $200,000 for BTC\/USD before a drawdown which could take liquidity at $30,000 or under.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThese lows that have built up \u2014 we don\u2019t have to take them now; we could very well continue up for the fifth wave,\u201d he explained.<\/p>\n<p>He added that there was \u201cnothing wrong\u201d with expecting a sweep of the lows after November 2021\u2019s all-time highs.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cBut again, based on market context and everything else that I\u2019ve seen, I think that\u2019s a little bit more unlikely; I think it\u2019s a lot more likely that we leave these lows untapped and simply continue up.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<figure><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/s3.cointelegraph.com\/uploads\/2022-05\/0957d5cd-73b8-4d67-9a18-011f3af8daad.png\"><figcaption style=\"text-align: center;\"><em>BTC\/USD 1-week candle chart (Bitstamp) with lows highlighted. Source: TradingView<\/em><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Capitulation_%E2%80%9Cmay_not_occur%E2%80%9D\"><\/span>Capitulation \u201cmay not occur\u201d<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>That same conclusion formed the basis of research by on-chain analytics platform CryptoQuant on May 3.<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Related:\u00a0$27K &#8216;max pain&#8217; Bitcoin price is ultimate buy-the-dip opportunity, says research<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Analyzing decreasing <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/cryptoquant.com\/asset\/btc\/chart\/exchange-flows\/exchange-netflow-total?exchange=all_exchange&amp;window=HOUR&amp;sma=168&amp;ema=0&amp;priceScale=log&amp;metricScale=linear&amp;chartStyle=column\">inflows to exchanges<\/a>, one contributor to CryptoQuant\u2019s Quicktake <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/watch-movies-tv-seriess\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"8\" title=\"Watch Movies &amp; TV Series\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">series<\/a> <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/cryptoquant.com\/quicktake\/626e4eb60343ff0ba817a219?utm_source=twitter&amp;utm_medium=sns&amp;utm_campaign=Quicktake&amp;utm_content=BinhDang\">argued<\/a> that traders were not readying themselves for a \u201ccapitulation\u201d and wave of selling.<\/p>\n<p>Inflows \u201cdropped sharply\u201d after January this year, while outflows continued an increasing trend.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cTherefore, if the market continues to trend as severely as the <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/social-mediaa\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"1\" title=\"Social Media\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">media<\/a> forecasts in <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/general\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"3\" title=\"General\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">general<\/a>, and no terrible events are happening unexpectedly (unpredictable), the crab can be repeated, but the capitulation may not occur,\u201d the contributor summarized.<\/p>\n<figure><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/s3.cointelegraph.com\/uploads\/2022-05\/7fc6ca37-3e1b-4f54-94eb-6e5f126a4114.png\"><figcaption style=\"text-align: center;\"><em>Bitcoin exchange netflows vs. BTC\/USD chart.
