And his testimony is the first time in this court that an eyewitness has said they saw abuse with their own eyes.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Travis McGivern<\/strong> worked for Johnny throughout the marriage to Amber (and yes, still works with him to this day). Like many others, he said they began as a \u201csuper h<a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">app<\/a>y, super loving\u201d couple \u2014 but then descended quickly into violent toxicity.<\/p>\n<p>He described verbal abuse that was shocking enough for a married couple, saying Amber called Johnny names such as \u201cf**king deadbeat dad, f**king washed up, f**king c**t\u2026 you name it \u2014 she\u2019s spewed it.\u201d Yeesh. He said the <em>Aquaman<\/em> actress went after him occasionally as well, mocking his career in security and calling him Johnny\u2019s \u201cf**king yes man.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong>Related: Johnny\u2019s Other Bodyguard Testifies<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>One thing McGivern said \u201cyes\u201d to? Whether he had seen Amber commit domestic abuse.<\/p>\n<p>The bodyguard testified that after they returned home from the infamous fight in Australia, things only got more severe between them. He told the court about one vicious fight in particular on March 23, 2015 \u2014 just a week after they got back. He was there because Johnny had texted him, he said, around 4 a.m. asking him to bring a nurse.<\/p>\n<p>He said the couple got into a bad fight and were yelling when he saw Amber throw a full can of Red Bull at Johnny, hitting him in the back. That caused the bodyguard to jump into action and stand between the couple as the \u201cverbal onslaught continued from both of them.\u201d He said the yelling was one thing and admitted that Johnny \u201cwas giving as good as he got.\u201d But the throwing was another \u2014 and he \u201cdidn\u2019t want my client getting hit with anything else.\u201d He says Amber threw a bag or purse of some kind next, which he did intercept. McGivern said Johnny was extremely upset, \u201cespecially after she tried to spit on him.\u201d So at one point when Amber and her sister\u00a0<strong>Whitney<\/strong> left the apartment, Johnny went into the upper bedrooms which \u201chad been turned into closets for Ms. Heard, basically\u201d and as the bodyguard put it, \u201crearranged her closet for her.\u201d He explained by that he meant the former\u00a0<strong>Disney<\/strong> star angrily ransacked her belongings and \u201cthrew down probably every rack of clothing and shoes\u201d from the top of the stairs. Sounds like a lot of the rages we\u2019ve heard Johnny could fly into. Hell, he even trashed hotel rooms back in the day, he was known for it. But he wasn\u2019t the one who struck his spouse that day, not according to his bodyguard.<\/p>\n<p>Amber walked in and saw what her husband was doing. McGivern says he saw how upset she was and knew he had to get his boss out of the area \u2014 but he didn\u2019t act fast enough:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cAt that point, out of the corner of my eye, I saw a fist and an arm come across my right shoulder, and I heard and saw a closed fist contact Mr. Depp in the left side of his face. That was Ms. Heard\u2019s fist. Amber Heard\u2019s fist.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Wow. He says Johnny was floored, not physically but emotionally:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cThe initial look on his face kind of mirrored mine, kind of a look of shock. Like, \u2018What just happened? Where did that come from?&#8217;\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Was this the first time she ever hit him like that? Is that why he was surprised? McGivern says wife or not, it was then 100% bodyguard time:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cAt that point, I wasn\u2019t gonna let Mr. Depp get hit any more so I moved him down the last flight of stairs to the lower level and told him, \u2018We are leaving.\u2019 It wasn\u2019t up to him anymore. Just for his safety.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>He felt guilty about not doing more beforehand, saying:<\/p>\n<section id=\"cb-2a797d7b8c4c6c67779fab5b4ca01279\" class=\"canvas-block canvas-block-permalink canvas-text-block canvas-text-block-permalink \">\n<blockquote><p>\u201cI\u2019d let him get hit by a Red Bull can, I\u2019d let him get punched\u2026 my job is to ensure the safety and well-being of my clients, and I felt like I hadn\u2019t done that. So it was my time to do my job and get him out of there.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<\/section>\n<p>He testified that it was a real punch, one that left a \u201cnice little shiner\u201d on Johnny\u2019s face. He described the black eye as \u201cswollen and red\u201d when he saw it but not \u201cblack and blue yet.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Innerestingly, he added that his boss \u201cwas not pleased with\u201d him for allowing him to be hit, which made Johnny laugh in court. He explained that Johnny told him the black eye was his fault \u2014 and he testified, \u201cand I agreed.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong>Related: Johnny Responds To Audio In Which Amber Admits To Abuse<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The bodyguard denied that Johnny had thrown anything at Amber or that he had shoved Whitney.
